It is my partners birthday today. He liked the presents that I got him to open on the day. I was also able to get up to the shop and get him a cream cake. I think that you cannot beat a cream cake. I think they are the best.
I have managed to look through some of the wedding pictures and get rid of some of them. My friend told me that she wants a copy of all of the pictures on a flash drive. I will get rid of duplicate shots that are not good enough and convert them to Jpeg before I put them on the flash card. At least I have made a start, but I need to step up my pace.

Wednesday 28th - clean up
I decided that once my partner got up this morning that I would spend some time cleaning the bedroom. I ended up spending a lot of the day in there as it took longer than I expected.
Though my partner has been really grumpy today so it was not a bad thing that I was not in the same room as him.

I was so pleased to have a lie in today. I really needed it. I did not get the best sleep but it was enough.

I've done it
Downloaded all of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episodes that can be downloaded that is. I am really pleased that I have managed to do it.
I am still tempted to E-Mail the company and start pestering them to release them for region two on DVD for both dubbed and subtitled versions.
Now all I need to do is start getting ready for the wedding tomorrow.

Very tired
I know it was my fault but as I went to bed later than what I had intended I woke feeling really tired today.
I have managed to muddle through this morning. It was challenging making sure that the wee ones kept their voices down as the noise was giving me a headache.
thankfully by lunchtime I was feeling much better. I really need to make sure that I get to get at a decent time tonight though as I will be up early in the morning. I will be going to my friends wedding. I really hope that I do a good job of the photographs. I think I will charge up the battery tonight just to make sure that it is full and I will also empty all of the cards. I lastly need to read the list of the shots that we will be taking and download editing software back onto my computer.
I have had some great news regarding the downloading. I had a look to see what I could do about the RAR files. I then discovered that they are just compressed files and I was able to easily find a program to download that would mean that I could open them. They are not the best quality files but at least I can watch them and they will be good enough until I can find better.
I am getting fed up of all of the flies that are around at the moment. There are a handful that have got in the living room and they do not see to be interested in leaving. I have had enough of them and they are annoying when they buzz around my head. I will make sure that I give the living room a good scrub once I have finished downloading.

Yu-Gi-Oh
A while ago I discovered a TV show called Yu-Gi-Oh GX. My partner told me about it and I thought it was funny watching it.
Though typically what started out as watching a show because I thought it was funny and a bit cheesy turned into not only me really enjoying it but my younglings really enjoying it.
The point of the animated show is that you have cards and you use them to duel with. The pictures on the cards become animated and act out what you tell them to do.
It started out as Yu-Gi-Oh and after that followed Yy-Gi-Oh GX and then after that there is the latest show Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's.
They are showing both Yu-Gi-Oh GX and Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's on the TV at the moment. I had been renting DVD's of Yu-Gi-Oh from Lovefilm as well. Sadly though they did not have many episodes to watch.
Also, I have enjoyed it so much that I have wanted versions that I can watch whenever I like. I tried to see what DVD's are available but I did not have much luck. I got my partner to look to see what he could download but he did not have much luck either (I do not think he really looked that hard to be honest)
I decided to have a look today and I managed to find some things. I found all of the episodes of all the shows. I thought my luck was in and started downloading the shows for Yu-Gi-Oh but I was saddened to see that they had cut the title credits off. I will download it if I cannot find anything else as what they have is better than nothing and it will be a good way for me to see the episodes that I doubt I could see any other way.
The I was not even able to download the episodes from the other shows, so it was back to square one.
After much looking and other disappointments I found something that I could download. It was all of the episodes for Yu-Gi-Oh GX and all of the episodes for Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's so far. I started downloading the first episode of Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's. It is great quality, plays well and has the titles. The only thing is that it is the Japanese version. Thankfully it is subtitled.
I will keep downloading them though as it was great to hear the voices as they should be, however I will still need to download the dubbed versions for the younglings to watch. However the wee ones seemed happy enough to watch the Japanese version (though it was a shock for them to hear them talking differently)

.So that has kept me busy today. I do need to make sure that tomorrow is a housework day though. I have been very bad over the last week. I think watching how clean is your house and the perfect housewife is i order.
I have ranged from enjoying what my wee ones have been doing to despairing. My daughter helped herself to my stones and lost one of their bags but we have also had fun. I am however tired of them not listening. I do need to get off the computer during the day though. I have found that the more time I spend on it during the day the less they listen to me.

Wednesday 21st - Night out
Not only did I get a lie in this morning but I had a night out in the evening. It has been a while since I last went out. It was nice to get out and I really enjoyed it.
I must admit that while we did need some water on the environment we no longer need it for now. A few dry and hot days to get the washing done. It was raining a lot and I had to go out and get something for dinner and I get soaked. Thankfully it was much better when I went out in the evening, but it was not fun getting out in it during the day.

Lie in out and about again
Today was my lie in day today and I needed it after going to bed so late. Though I did not mean to sleep in till eleven thirty. I will have to do better on my next lie in day.
The pocket watch that I ordered from E-Bay arrived in the post this morning. It really is beautiful and I am so happy with it. I might have to get some pocket watches as presents for people.
Thankfully today was a sunny day so I was able to get the towels dry that I had washed the other day as well as getting another wash load washed and dried. The rain is due to be on again tomorrow but hopefully it will not be long before we get some more dry days so that I can get totally caught up with the washing (the washing is now piled out of the laundry basket.
I went out again. I went with my friend as she thought it would be good for me to see the registry place where she is getting married. As it turned out though her middle daughter fell asleep in the car by the time that we arrived and she did not want to wake her, so I stayed out in the car with her. As it turned out I think I had the best option as my friend told me that her eldest daughter was very challenging in the building.
After I mentioned about going to the shops to get some dinner and she took me to Asda to get something from there. Because she was able to take me to a bigger store I had much more choice, so I was able to remember to get vegetarian mince. I am very happy about this as that will help us make some different meals. Pasta and sauce is nice but it is much nicer with the mince in.
I was told that the younglings were good in the morning and while I was out. My daughter did not even have any time in the time out chair. I am very pleased that they did so well.
My daughter did say something to me today that was so sweet. I was trying on a couple of dresses today to decided which one I could wear to my friends wedding. One of them sadly did not fit (it is really unforgiving and while I know it would not take much to get back in it I could not do it in time) so I decided to go for the other dress as it fitted really nicely and I know that I could move about with ease.
As I was wearing it my daughter walked in the room and when she saw me she said 'Ah mummy you look beautiful' I thought that was such a sweet thing to say. It really made me feel very nice.

Monday 19th July - Out and about
I have been busy getting out and about.
In the morning I was picked up and taken to Dunfemline so that I could see where the outdoor photographs will be taken.
While it was raining we were still able to get some shots and we decided that even if the weather was the same on the wedding day we would still be able to get the outdoor shots. I did realize today that I needed to get my cards clear on the day of the wedding.
It was nice to get out though and bless my friend treated me to a drink and something to eat as well.
It was not long for me being in before I had to be out again to get something for dinner and then after that I was out yet again when I visited my friend as I have now been doing on a Monday. It did end up being a late night though. It was past three when I got to sleep.

Lovely lie in
I really needed it as I was feeling shattered. I eventually got up at around eleven thirty.
I am hoping that my computer has been fixed now. After more problems we installed the new hard drive. It is working so far without problems. I hope it stays like that. It will be nice to have it working nicely.
My daughter is back in fingers mode when she was taking some things out of my room. I really am looking forward to the time when she stops doing that.
I am hopeful that my son is beginning to get more confidence regarding using the toilet. Today he did not do anything in the garden and did everything in the toilet. He still is fearful that he will bock the toilet but he seems to be feeling better about it though.
I have also managed to spend a bit of time ni the shed today and get rid of two black bags of clutter. I really am determined to get rid of it all.

Time flies
Even though I did not get a lie in today it feel as though the day really has flown and I have not really done a lot with it.
My partner took the wee ones to his mums but due to him leaving later than usual and my step daughter staying here instead I did not get as much housework as I would have liked. Though when I started playing my documentary she soon left the room and went in the bedroom instead and that meant that I was able to get something done. I think though that I will end up doing my housework late at night again.
Though it is always more challenging getting the housework during the school holidays. I have been doing better this holiday than normal.
I was thinking about it tonight. This time last year we were going away on the Homestart trips (I really must phone them and say hello) but this year there is nothing any more for me. I am going to have to start planning a few days out with them. I will not be able to take them to the places that we went last year but even if all we are able to do is get to the beach once a week then that would be fine. I will also look to see if there any places that I can take them on the bus.

Getting out
Even though it was past three when I crashed I did not get the chance to have a good lie in as I was being picked up at the back of ten in the morning to go out. I did not feel too bad when I got up but I left it late to get as much sleep as possible, so I had to rush about a wee bit, but I managed it.
It was nice to get out. It was to discuss the photographs that I would be taking at my friends (his daughters) wedding. We then went to a castle nearby to get some shots while the weather was nice. We did not have the time to go to the wedding venue but hopefully we will get the chance next week. It would be good to get an idea about what shots I could get on the day.
My youngest son is still using the garden as a toilet. I have tried something new with him and I will get my partner to stick to it. Instead of punishing him for using the garden as a toilet I am going to reward him for using the toilet instead. I have told him that if he uses the toilet then he can go on the computer for half an hour. Hopefully that will help him get back his confidence at using the toilet.

I have been playing one of the games on Facebook and I have been finding it addictive. Hehe if Frontierville was available to buy then I would get it. It is so cute to play. Though it has meant that I have left the housework for the last few days.
I need to make sure that I combine the both of them.
I did not do too badly last night when I realized that I really needed to perfect that idea. I started cleaning up at one thirty and it ended up being nearly three when I went to bed. I will have to do better from now on as I do not want to let the flat get into a tip and have to spend a lot of time getting it clean again. I have really enjoyed seeing the flat looking nice and it feels really nice as well. I know that I will not get that my partner so I have to make sure that I keep on top of it myself.
Though another thing that took my time up during the night was chatting to my friend through Facebook. It was nice to chat to her and we were reminiscing about the wild nights out that we used to have years ago. It really was fun thinking about them again. We really did have a lot of fun when we went out. Of all the times that I went out drinking those particular times were my favorite times.

Found disc
After much searching and accidentally submitting a lost disc report to Lovefilm my partner found the disc (as the pendulum had predicted) The pendulum was not totally right but it did well.
I am just relieved to have it back. I contacted Lovefilm and asked them what would happen. They said that I would be charged as I had registered the disc as being lost but if I return the disc I will be refunded. That is good to know. I will be able to return the disc tomorrow as planned. She really is a pestieboo.
I have started playing another game on Facebook. I have really enjoyed playing Kingdoms of Camelot so I have started playing Frontierville. That is very cute as well. Some aspects of the game are annoying but it still is cute.
Tomorrow though I really must stay off the computer and get jobs done as they are starting to build up again.

My jewelery arrived today. It is really funky looking and I am looking forward to wearing it to the wedding. I showed my friend and she thinks that it is pretty.
My computer is still working fine. There are some glitches along the way but thankfully not many but it is behaving much better than before. I am really glad about that.
Though one person who has been challenging again is my daughter. She has managed to lose one of the discs that I rented from Lovefilm. That is not good. I asked the pendulum and it said that we would find the disc (well Kevin would find the disc)

I have been getting a few problems with the computer recently. I really need a new hard drive, but I will have to make do with what I have got.

I do not feel so good
They had some prawns on special offer today at the local shop (well they were in the last day of sale section) I went a little bit enthusiastic and got a lot of packs of them. I think I have eaten too much and I do not feel good. Hopefully it will pass soon.
Today I decided that I would spend some time in the shed and see what garbage I can get rid of. i managed to fill two black bags of stuff. I will be going back in there tomorrow. I am determined that I will get the shed cleared of stuff by the time that my mum and dad come up in September to help with the decorations.
The twins were driving me mad though. They kept pestering me when I was trying to concentrate on clearing out clutter. It did not help that I was getting flustered and overwhelmed by the amount of clutter that we have got. I got really mad with them and was really snippy. I do wish that I would not get so stressed so quickly and that I would not take it out on them.
I have recently started getting on Facebook more. I am starting to enjoy it. I have been able to get back in touch with people that I have not been in touch with for a while. I think it is a great way to keep in touch with people as well.
Today I decided that I would spend some time in the shed and see what garbage I can get rid of. i managed to fill two black bags of stuff. I will be going back in there tomorrow. I am determined that I will get the shed cleared of stuff by the time that my mum and dad come up in September to help with the decorations.
The twins were driving me mad though. They kept pestering me when I was trying to concentrate on clearing out clutter. It did not help that I was getting flustered and overwhelmed by the amount of clutter that we have got. I got really mad with them and was really snippy. I do wish that I would not get so stressed so quickly and that I would not take it out on them.
I have recently started getting on Facebook more. I am starting to enjoy it. I have been able to get back in touch with people that I have not been in touch with for a while. I think it is a great way to keep in touch with people as well.

Very busy
My partner took the younglings around to his mums house and after relaxing for a bit an playing Diablo II (I have reinstalled it and am really enjoying playing it) I started to get the housework done.
I did not have the time to really properly clean but I was able to clean the entire flat. The bathroom and the younglings room both got a really good clean though and there was not much that needed to get done in the bedroom. It is nice to see the place looking much better. There needs to be work done around the computer desks and in the kitchen, but that can wait until tomorrow.
I am worried about my youngest son. The weather has not been warm during the day but it has been at night. He has been struggling at night due to the weather. I have been giving him his inhaler during the night as he has been coughing a lot.
This morning he was choking and was struggling to breathe. He is fine during the day but it is the night when he has been struggling the worst. Thankfully it is not as bad as in England where there has been a number of deaths at night due to the weather.
Tonight I have wedged him into an upright position. I hope that will help him. We are on our last inhaler as well. One of them ran out this morning. I went up to the doctors this morning but sadly it was shut. I should have enough to last until Monday but I will have to go up first thing to make sure that I get another one.

Getting ready for a wedding
The other day when I was at my friends house and when we were talking about her wedding I suddenly realized that I did not any idea what I was going to wear to the wedding.
Since then I have been thinking about things that I could wear as I did not want to have to buy a new outfit for the day. I managed to get some jewelery from E-Bay and this morning I managed to get a really funky looking necklace and the matching bracelet in the afternoon. I thought they would go nicely with the funky dress that I call my Elvira dress.
When I thought about it I decided that I could end up competing with the bride and that would not be right. I had to choose another outfit and one that would go with the jewelery that I had just got as well. This evening I went through my wardrobe and I found something that I could wear that would will look pretty but not compete with the bride at all. I am very pleased that I found something. The only thing that I need to get is a pair of shoes. The week before the wedding though I will go out and pick up the least expensive appropriate pair that I can find (I need some summery shoes)

Challenging daughter
I am really, really not impressed with how my daughter has been acting. She really needs to learn how to behave differently. Today she has emptied a bottle of tomato sauce on the path outside, damaged my eldest sons reward card from school, taken one of the bottles that I am going to use for cleaning stuff and ran off with my youngest sons inhaler. She has also been playing up and being a very cheeky girl.
Both my partner and I got really mad with her and while I want to make sure that she is disciplined I do not want to lose my temper.
One of the times that she got time out I told her that I was very disappointed with her. I will have a look through my books tomorrow and see if there is anything there that can help us get her through this phase.
I did visit my friend in the morning after my partner had got up from his lie in. Her daughter is beginning to recover from breaking her arm on the last day of school. I am glad that she is getting better now. Thankfully she at least has got the summer holiday to recover.
I had a nice time there and it was nice to see her during the summer. I did not visit her during the holidays much but I have decided that I do not see why I should not see her. I like her girls as well.
After I saw her I went to visit my other friend as I wanted to give her the incense that I got when I went shopping. I always get her some incense when I go shopping.
Though with all of the spending that I have done this week I really have got to be careful with the money this weekend.
I have got a couple of bits of jewelery to get from E-Bay tomorrow and that will be it until next Friday. After what one f my friends told me about what she has been able to find on E-Bay for her wedding I decided to find something to wear to that wedding. Tonight I would a pretty bracelet as well as a very funky pocket watch. The pocket watch only cost 1p. There is £5.99 for the postage, but that is not much and it looks so pretty. I am really looking forward to them both arriving (One will be arriving from England and the other will be arriving from Singapore). I will be bidding on a necklace and another bracelet tomorrow.

Going shopping
Because my partner went fishing yesterday I went shopping today. I needed to get school uniform for my eldest and I like going in the pound shop. I did manage to get a nice lie in before I went and I got some washing done and put out on the line (we are due to have rain tomorrow and I needed to clear some of the pile that is building up)
Sadly the range of clothes that was able in the school uniform section was not very good at all. I was only able to get him his gym kit and three shirts. I did see some trousers but I did not want to get them as I did not have much to spend (I was not planning on getting trousers today anyway) I do think that I will just order the rest of the uniform Online. I only need to get some trousers, three shirts and name tags. I might get some more socks but I can get that at a later time.
I will take my son into town the week before he is due back to start to get his feet measured and get him his school shoes.
I did spend a lot in the pound shop though. I think it is great. I got toys for the younglings and some things that my partner had asked for. I got more DVD cases and a thing to make ice lollies. I also got something for my friends birthday. While I spent quite a bit there I know that if I had have got them elsewhere I would have spent a lot more that what I did.
While I was out I treated myself to a coffee and chips at one of the cafes. It is a very sweet cafe (it is a proper traditional cafe) After that I went and stood by the sea for a bit. I need to get to the sea more often. I find it so soothing to be there. I love the smell of the sea and the sound of it. I really hope that I eventually live in a town right by the sea (or within easy walking distance)
When I got home I took the remaining DVD's out of their boxes and put them into the cases. There has been some DVDs that we will be keeping in their boxes, but not many. Now I need to sort out what DVD is in what case and write out a list.

Tuesday 8th - So tired
I managed to get up well in the morning. I did not have to get up too early and I was able to stay in bed until my partner left to go fishing.
I have managed to get through the day pretty well considering that I have not had much sleep. There were moments when I really did not feel well but I managed to keep the tiredness away by keeping myself busy.
It was by the evening that it really hit me. I did not even go on the Internet. I just sat for a bit before going to bed. Even though I was getting a lie in I still needed a good sleep.

Monday 5th July - Visiting my friend
I went to visit my friend today. I will be going around on Monday evening from now on (unless she is working that is) Her man goes to the pub on a Monday night so it is nice to have a good blether with her.
Tonight her friend was also over with her youngest son. I had a really nice night but I ended up coming home far too late. I arrived home at just gone one in the morning.
That is not that good considering that I will be getting up in the morning with the wee ones.

Lovely lie in
It was my turn for a lie in and as I did not have to go anywhere today I got a proper lie in. Even though I got a good long sleep I still feel tired. I need to make sure that I go to bed at a decent time so that I can get a good sleep.
I decided that after I had a dream about one of my friends that I would get in touch with her again. We were friends in the mid nineties but then we lost contact with each other. When I was visiting my mums in the town where I grew up she saw me and we chatted and went out one night. We again lost touch after that. Not too long ago she contacted me through Facebook and I checked there for the first time in ages and saw that she left me a contact number. I was able to text her and I got her land line number. It was great to chat to her and even though we have not spoken for nearly four years it went really well. Now that I have got her numbers I will be able to keep in touch with her. I am not sure how often we will be able to meet up but it would be good to chat from time to time.
The younglings keep escaping from the garden and running across to the park. If I knew that they would stay in the park then it would not be too bad. I am not happy with them running across the road though. My youngest son did make me laugh when he went to the park half naked (not top half naked either)

When my partner took the younglings away to his mums I was busy in the living room cleaning and sorting through a bag of socks and pairing them up. After that my step daughter phoned to ask if her friend could stay overnight. I said that was fine but that meant that I then had to clean the bedroom.
I do wish that I would not be so cranky when I get tired. By the evening when I was reading to the younglings I was really cranky.

Another lie in
I did need it but sadly I stayed up too late last night so even with the the lie I still did not get enough sleep. I need to make sure that I get to bed at a decent time tonight.
I went to the bank today to see if they could help me with the credit card bill, but sadly at the moment there is not a lot that he can do, so all we can do is carry on as before and make sure that we continue to not spend on anything. I need to make sure that we get the bill under 6k as soon as possible.
Something arrived in the post today that I ordered. I thought it would be playing cards for Yu-Gi-Oh GX but they were just laminated picture cards. I thought I had wasted my money at first but then I realized that they would be great for the younglings to play with. They really liked them and it would be a good way to get them to look after cards. It helps that they are laminated so it reduces any damage done.
My partner very nicely ordered a started deck for me so I will hopefully be getting some proper duelling cards soon. It will be great to see them.

You can tell that it is the first day of the summer holidays as the rain is here.
Thankfully it was not that bad that the younglings could play outside once the rain had stopped.
I also made sure that the wee ones did not go on the computer much at all today and the TV was turned off more times than normally. There was some objections but not too many. I need to make sure that he keeps off the computer.
The carpenter came around in the morning to sort out the kitchen and the cooker. He looked at the cooker and said he would be back in ten minutes. He did not come back. I think that he was not able to put the new cooker in as the old cooker is a fitted kitchen. The landlord really should just do the job porperly and get the whole kitchen replaced.
As I was getting stuff prepared for the work done in the kitchen I did a lot of cleaning and got rid of a lot of stuff. It is looking so much better in there now. I need to keep it like that.

Wednesday 30th June - Schools out for summer
A couple of days earlier than other schools but we have broke up for the summer. It will be good to get back to the new school for my eldest and the twins to nursery.
I am looking forward to not having to rush out in the morning and thinking about what I have to get ready for the next day the night before. It will be a nice holiday.
