Yesterday I had a really funky day in Edinburgh with my friend. I was shattered by the end of the day but it was worth it.
Today though while during the day I managed to get a lot of work done with the flat I have had moments when I have been really cranky with the wee ones. though they have not been listening to me (my eldest speding two times on time out) though when I took the boys out for a walk they were great, later they started messing around.
I then had an argument with my partner and he smashed up the tv remote.
T really need to do something about my temper, and so does my partner as it really is having a negative effect on the wee ones.

First full day
It was the twins first full day at school.
I must admit that it was great to not have to go out htree time. I did not managed to get as much done as I had hoped for while they were at school, but I did a good job of the living room and I managed to get more done once they were home.
I am really pleased with myself though as the flat is beginning to look so much better.
The twins got on well at school as well. Though I need to make sure that I plan my day out a bit better to avoid wasting time (though I do need to let myself have days off to rest)

Homework
The wee ones got their first set of homework today. I thought it would be to cover their homework book, but it wss proper work. Thankfully it was not difficult. They just had to color it the items that were in quantities of two. They managed it well,better than my eldest did at the time.
My eldest did mess around, but thankfully he did settle down. I do need to not allow myself to get so bad temoered with them.

Tablet and bad manners
My new tablet arrived (my third one, the first one had a problem with the screen and the second one did not work)
Thankfully though this one does not have any problems with the screen. The only issue I have is with the keyboard beig slighly out of sync when it is tn the horizontal possition. Thankfully that is not a problem and the keyboard works fine in the vertical possition. I am really happy with it. I think I am especially happy that I do not need to send it back.
On a not so good note, I really am not happy with how my son is acting at the moment. He is very rude to me when I tell him off. Today when I told him that he wss not going to his pals house was to call me an idiot.
I think I will have to get him to write out lines like how my pal has started doing with her eldest daughter.

The first day at school
And the twins had a nice time. They just settled in as if they were having a day at nursery. As soon as they went in they stayed together and started painting. It was so good to see them settling in so well.
My eldest had a good day, however he was being so rude to me when he got back from school. He started acting better when I told him off, but he had a couple of moments before he went to bed.
Though one of the things that I was most happy with was how well it went in the morning. I got up early so I could comb through their hair and they all got dressed without any problems. They were all dressed at just past eight. I have never had such a relaxing morning and one that we have been ready so early. I really hope this continues.

Off to school tomorrow
I have been busy getting ready for the start of term tomorrow. It will be the twins first day at school as well.
I am as prepared as I could possibly be. I just need to make sure that I go to bed at a decent time so that I am not shattered when I get up in the morning.
I am pleased that when I combed through their hair today that I did not find any lice. I will comb through their hair tomorrow morning before they go to school. I am doing much better at keeping vigilant. Hopefully I can get rid of them and keep them away.
My eldest son has also lost his front tooth. It happened when he was at my partners mums house on either Saturday or Sunday. I cannot remember when they said it happened.

Early birthday present
My birthday present that I ordered yesterday has arrived today. I asked my mum if she could get me a Kindle. She said that was fine. I decided that I would order it early as mum said that she was sending me the money up today.
I think it is fantastic. I can now read the Kindle books that I had brought but not read as I do not like reading books on my computer monitor.

Oh dear
Today I was happy when my replacement tablet arrived.
Sadly though that was short lived as when I had charged up the battery I discovered that the machine did not work properly. It kept shutting off no matte what I did to try and get it to stay on.
That meant that I then had to send off the second tablet that I had got.
Hopefully third time lucky.
I did discover that the case that I had got for it was too big. That meant that I had to order another one. I will find a use for the other case as I think it would be good for protecting books when I go visiting people.
I do feel sad that I had to send it back. I'd had it less than eight hours. I really hope that the next one that I am sent works fine, the one thing that I was happy about was that they were very quick in getting back in touch with me.

Shoe shopping
Today I took the younglings to get their school shoes. It is the first time that I took all three of them to get their shoes.
I was originally going to take my partner with me to get them, but I changed my mind. I am glad that I did as he would have just moaned. I managed fine on my own. There was times when I was stressed, but generally it went well.
It was expensive though. I like to get them proper shoes for school. Thankfully I started saving up at the start of the year for this day. I only saved £10 a fortnight, but it was enough to mean that I had £150 today. Thankfully it was just enough as the shoes and polish that I got cost me £144. Thankfully that will last them the year. I could not afford to get them any more shoes. The twins are going to learn how to make their shoes last. My eldest is really good at it.
