I like getting out with the twins now I have the funky new pram

The night shift went well and I managed to get a little lie in before getting up and getting lots done.

The morning went well. I managed to play on the online computer game that I like playing and I also managed to get a lot done. Devil boy took Wolfie out to his grandma’s house in the morning. The twins also slept while they were out so I managed to get some time to enjoy playing the game. I decided that I would get my jobs done tonight instead. It was nice to relax during the day.

When they got back I sorted out lunch for the twins and after that I put Wolfie off for a nap. I fed the twins again and relaxed a little before going out once Wolfie had woke up.

I took the twins out with me, as I wanted to take out the funky new pram. It is absolutely brilliant to get out and about with. Getting in and out of shops etc is so much easier. The shopping trey is also wonderful. I was able to fit all of my shopping into it.

It was nice to get out, get some fresh air and exercise. When I got home I sorted out some dinner for the twins. I was not feeling that hungry so Devil boy sorted out dinner for him and Wolfie.

I then had a lot of things to clean up before Wolfie went to bed. Devil boy went out to his brothers for the night and I managed to clear away a lot of clothe, get Wolfies room ready and clean up in the living room before I needed to put Wolfie to bed.

He did not settle off to begin with but he settled after I went though to him. The twins were a bit unsettled but thankfully hey also settled off to sleep. This meant that I was able to get a lot of jobs done. I cleaned up in the kitchen; the living room and I also cleaned my computer desk. It was looking a right mess.

I have changed, fed and settled the twins (though Malach was reluctant at first to settle) so all I have to do is relax and read for a bit before crashing.

Thursday 28th September – No homestart

The night shift went well and all younglings slept well. Devil boy made breakfast for Wolfie and I sorted thee twins out. The morning went well and I managed to get a lot sorted out (I washed the foot covers for the big pram, washed the nappies)

I even managed to get the younglings ready for homestart on time. I waited and waited but they did not arrive. I looked at the time and realised that they were not going to arrive. I checked the phone and it looked strange. They must have tried to phone but were not able to get through.

I had a bit of a huff, as I was not sure what to do. I had planned on being at homestart. Thankfully the huff did not last long. I got Wolfie off for a nap and relaxed for a bit while he slept.

After he got up I sorted out dinner (jacket potatoes) and did some cleaning up. I was putting out the nappies on the line when I got a phone call. It was to tell me that there would be a delay in sending the rain cover for the pram out to me. I was really happy about hat as I was able to tell them that I would like to cancel the order. I am so glad that I managed to get that cancelled. I am going to give my friend some money for the rain cover though as it is in perfect condition.

Dinner went well and Wolfie managed to eat the bits of it that I would have liked him to eat (the potato) and I cleaned up while Devil boy bathed and put him to bed. He did not settle off at first but he settled soon after.

The night went well. I think I bolted my dinner so I felt funny for a while. It passed quickly enough thankfully and the rest of the night went funkily. I did not go to bed at the time that I had planned but it was not too long after it.

Wednesday 27th September – My funky new pram arrived

The night shift went well and even though I went to bed later than I had planned I felt funky.

I managed to get the younglings ready to take to the baby and toddler group. The group did not go well though. The twins were over tired and unsettled. The other boy three kept pestering them as well and he was running about screaming which was annoying me.

The group finished earlier than normal thankfully though and I went to Devil boys grandmas house. That went well thankfully and I stayed there for a bit before coming home and getting the younglings their lunch.

My funky new buggy had arrived when I got home. I managed to put it together without any problems (I needed to borrow a hammer from the lat above though for one part) the pram looks wonderful and it is great to have such a narrow one for the twins. I am going to see about sorting the other pram out ready to sell. I unfortunately had to order a rain cover for the pram, as it has not come with one.

I took the twins out in their funky new buggy in the afternoon for a test drive. It is so much easier to get out and about with it and I am so happy that I have got it. It will make the trip down to Derby so much easier. There is a funky shopping tray with it, which will be able to fit a lot in it.

When I was out I called in the shop. I was able to get around it with no problems. That is much better than when I went in before and was not able to get about. After I got what I needed I visited my friend for a bit. She gave me a rain cover for the pram as it had unfortunately not come with one. Thought that was so funky of her to do that. This meant that I had to somehow cancel the order that I had made earlier.

When I got home we had some dinner and after Devil boy’s daughter went home I cleaned Wolfies room, bathed him and put him to bed. He settled off with no problems.

The night went well but I was so busy all night. I did remember to book my train tickets to go to Derby. As I had booked them in advance the price for them was good. I paid for a seat for Wolfie though as I do not want him to sit on my knee the whole time. I will leave the twins in their buggy. I am not too happy with Virgin though as they do not have any room on their trains for a buggy to be placed. I made a suggestion for them to make a buggy area. I will have to put the buggy in the disabled section and hope that I will not have to move. I cannot understand why they cannot make a little room for buggies though.

I managed to get to bed though before it was too late and I managed to get some time to rest. I am not managing to get any time put aside for my collages so I am going to have to sort that out soon.

A funky and productive day

The night shift went well and I got up feeing good. I sorted out Wolfie and I with our breakfast. I then changed him and sorted out some washing before hovering Wolfies room.

I managed to get a few things done in the morning while allowing myself the teat to go on the computer from time to time.

Devil boy then took Wolfie out for a bit. I used the time while he was out well as I was blessed that the twins slept as well. I managed to continue my task of cleaning the kitchen. I have cleared one of the sides. This is making the kitchen seem so much bigger. It is a small kitchen but there seems so much more room now.

When Devil boy and Wolfie got back the Tesco order had arrived. Wolfie and I had a little to eat before I put Wolfie off for a nap. I then generally cleaned up and fed the twins.

The afternoon went well. The sad bit was that Wolfie has attacked my sunflower. It was about to flower and I was feeling proud for getting it that far. I will have another attempt next year. I feel rather sad though that Wolfie attacked it. I will need to teach him to not rip and tear at plants.

Shortly after Wolfie got up Devil boy made dinner and we kept the youngling entertained before he went out. He sorted out the bath and I got Wolfies room ready. It was going well until Devil boy had an accident and forgot to keep a check on the washing up that he was ding. He managed to flood the kitchen. There was water everywhere but on the plus side at least the floor got cleaned. It needed it.

I bathed and put Wolfie to bed while Devil went out to watch the football. Wolfie did not settle well at first but he settled off when I next went though to him.

I spoke to my mum. She is away for a break for her birthday. She is having a lovely time so far and is looking forward to the rest of her trip.

I then cleaned up in the kitchen and changed the twins before giving them their bottles and putting them to bed.

I think I will relax before crashing soon. I have had a rather busy day.

A challenging start but getting better though the day

The night shift did not go too badly. Wolfie got up early but as he would not settle again I decided that I would leave him until I was ready to bring him though. It will not take too long before he starts settling later. I am also thinking of getting him a clock. My friend told me about them. You tell your youngling that they are to get out of bed when the ears on the clock are raised. It will help them learn what time to get up.

I was not in a good mood in the morning though again. I am tired of always being in a bad mood at the moment. I am going to have to look through my books and work on getting back on track with my recovery.

I went out to get more milk. I went out by myself as I thought it would be good for me to get out on my own. By the time I got back I sorted lunch and put Wolfie of for a nap before I had a quick browse of the Internet and relaxed a little before going out again to pay the council tax.

By the time I got back I was feeling in a better mood. I was able to laugh about things and not get too wound up. Another good development today is that Wolfie had barely sworn at all today. I am so happy that he has shown such improvement. Hopefully it will continue and when I visit mum and dad he will not be swearing.

Devil boys mum and grandma called around for a short while today. It was nice of them to call around.

Devil boy settled off Wolfie to sleep and I then had a funky relaxing bath, I was then busy in the kitchen cleaning it up (it is a tip at the moment) I then change and gave the twins their bottles.

All I have to do tonight now is get the bed ready and see what work I can get done on a collage.

Sunday 24th September – Operation stop Wolfie swearing

The night shift did not go too well at all. The twins do not like going to sleep in the same room as us now so they woke up earlier than usual. Wolfie woke up early so that meant I woke up early. I was not in a good mood and then Devil boy’s daughter got up early so that sealed off my bad mood.

By dinner I was funky again though and the afternoon went well. I spent time in the garden sorting it out ready for winter (picking up Wolfies toys etc)

I managed to get Wolfie off for a nap during the day and I spent some time on the online computer game Dark age of Camelot. I upgraded my house in the game from a one-story house to a two-story house. It would be so funky to have a house like that in real life though.

The afternoon went really funkily. Though Wolfie has started wearing and swearing a lot. He is only saying the F word but he is saying it so much. I asked on the internet about what I can do and I was told that it is best to ignore it. It is hard to do so but if that is the best way to stop him then that is what I will do.

He was good for his bath through and he settled off nicely. The rest of the night went well and I had a nice relaxing time. Unfortunately I was not able to find my Take a break magazine in time to get the competitions sent off (ironically enough though I found them the next day)

A much better day today

The night shift did not go too badly. It was still disturbed (by Devil boy) but even though I had an early start I did not feel too bad.

I felt much better today thankfully. I started off well and managed to get a lot done from the start. I needed to get a lot done as Devil boy was in bed with a hangover. I got my mums birthday present sent off as well as a card for my friend and a DVD for another friend.

I then did some cleaning in the kitchen before starting work on the back room.

I managed to get Wolfie off for a nap and I had a browse of the Internet while he slept. Devil boy then got back from the football and was thankfully feeling better. I then spent the afternoon in the back room cleaning and also in the shed getting things done. I managed to make good progress. I am really proud of myself about what I have managed do.

Unfortunately Wolfie has started saying the f word lots. I have told off Devil boy lots for this but we really must do something about stopping him from saying that word.

The rest of the afternoon went well and Devil boy managed to get Wolfie settled off to sleep. All I need to do is finish feeding Elbereth, clean up a little before crashing. I am feeling shattered now. I am really hoping that I get a good sleep.

I have had a really challenging day mood wise

I managed to have an uninterrupted sleep but Wolfie woke up at 5.30 and did not settle back to sleep. I managed to lie in bed for a bit until 8am but I did not sleep much after Wolfie first woke so I did not get a good sleep after all.

The morning did not start off too badly. I was a little grumpy but that was it until something set me off and I was then in a very bad mood. Devil boy took Wolfie out as he had planned.

For a while when he was out I felt great. I pottered about, got jobs done and saw to the twins.

But soon before Devil boy got home my mood took a downturn and I was feeling bad again. As soon as Devil boy got home and realised I was in a bad mood he went into a bad mood and really snapped at Wolfie. This then put me in a worse mood. The atmosphere in our home was awful.

The rest of the day did not go well. I really struggled to find the energy to get any jobs done at all. It is at time like this that I feel sad that we do not get very little help at all from anyone else (not through them not wanting but not being able)

I went out with the twins in the afternoon while Devil boy cut the grass (it has been sunny today) I was feeling a little better when I got in and Devil boy and I were able to have a chat for a little while.

I had meant to send mums birthday present today but I could not make it. I will send it tomorrow though as soon as possible. I will get up in the morning with Wolfie so that I have lots of time.

Devil boy bathed Wolfie before he went to his brother’s house. I put Wolfie to bed and the saw to the twins. I have had a not too bad night. I mainly just relaxed though. The jobs will get done tomorrow.

I am feeling much better now thankfully but I am just feeling drained. As all of my younglings are crashed I am going to read ad crash as soon as possible.

Thursday 21st October – I have ordered my funky new pram

The night shift went well and all younglings slept though. Wolfie got up early but that is normal.

I ordered the funky new pram in the morning. I am really looking forward to getting it as it looks fab. I am going to sell the other pram that I have got. I have now decided that I hate side-by-side double buggies. Unfortunately though I have a bad feeling that mum will not help out toward the cost of the pram. When I spoke to her on the one she seemed reluctant unlike when I phoned her when I ordered the washing machine. Thankfully the pram was not too expensive but that is not the point really.

I was not ready for homestart again. I need to get used to them turning up on time. It was different this week, as they wanted to do something in the room that we sat in so we were taken out and they bought us something to eat. It was nice for a change. I managed to get some competitions done but unfortunately no collages.

Shortly after I got home our funky new TV arrived. It looks wonderful. Films look fab on it and as it is black it looks fab. It is a huge TV though.

The night shift went well…well apart from the twins needing lots of seeing to. I was non-stop until they settled. I managed to get to bed early thought so I am hoping to get a good sleep.

Wednesday 20 September – Sad news

Today has not gone too badly though I have been feeling down for a few days and I have been so quick to get into a bad mood as well. I really do not know what is the matter with me but I really hope that it passes soon as it is having an effect on Devil boy and my relationship as well as with Wolfie.

I went to the baby and toddler group in the morning. I enjoyed it there but I am sure that the tow other women there will not think much of how I discipline Wolfie because I do not call him naughty or smack him.

After the group I went to Devil boy’s grandmas house. His mum and dad are up in the area for about a week. It is nice to see them as Devil boy’s dad has not been well recently. He is still not well but he is feeling better.

I spoke to my mum in the evening. We were talking about what we needed to get ready for my trip to Derby in October. Mum was talking about buying a double buggy for me to use while I as there. I then had a better idea, which would mean that I would buy a new pram to use up here but I would be able to take it on the train. As the twins are getting older I can use a tandem pram so I will order it tomorrow. Mum did not seem happy with the idea though, which I was confused about.

She told me some sad news though as well. Here cousin passed away last night. She has not been well for a short time but it is so sad that she went so quickly. Though from what mum told me she did not suffer too much thankfully.

The rest of the night went funkily and Devil boy and I managed to play a quick game of Star Wars bite-sized trivial pursuit. It was lovely to do that. We really must make the effort to do this more often. We have got a few games now (the Star Wars monopoly arrived today….which I am really looking forward to playing)

I went out with all younglings today to clinic

The night shift went well but the only downsized is that my cough is getting rather painful at the moment. I will see how it goes over the next week and if it is still the same I will see the doctor.

The morning went well and I managed to get a few things done. I noticed that today could possibly be a good drying day so I did two loads of washing. I have just about caught up with the washing. I thought that if I can get the majority of the clothes dried outside then they would not need much time on the radiator.

After the Tesco order arrived I cleaned up a bit and then got the twins ready to go out. Devil boy was on the computer and I noticed that he was not paying attention to what Wolfie was doing (it took him about 10 minutes to notice that he had gone outside) so that made decided that I would take him out with us as well.

I dropped of some things at the charity shop (a baby carrier and door bounder) and I went up to clinic. I got the twins weighed. They are doing well and we discovered that they had not charted the twin’s weight right last week, which was why it looked like they had one down the chart. They have gone up the chart a little even though they have not put on much weight and have not been well recently so I am really happy about that.

I then went to visit my friend for a while. We had a funky chat before I headed back home. Wolfie was really good as it a long walk for him. Hw was rather lively at my friend’s house but my friend made sure that he stuck to her house rules. He was cranky at the end of the walk but he was tired and very thirsty at that point. I think he did brilliantly.

We had dinner when we got in and as Devil boy was busy I bathed and put Wolfie to bed. I was not too bothered as I am enjoying reading the latest Star Wars book that I am reading to him (I have started reading Survivors quest to him)

I then have relaxed for a bit, spoke to mum, sent E-Mails to my friends and sorted the twins out. Devil boy and I are going to spend a little time playing a Star Wars game tonight so that we get to spend some quality time together. My new Star Wars game arrived today. I am really looking forward to playing it. My friend told me that there is another Star Wars game out though (it is the trilogy version) she is getting that as there is a R2-D2 model in that. I am actually tempted to get it as well as I also love R2-D2.

Saw the councillor but I think it is a long road to my temper being under control

The night shift went well and it was really funky that when Wolfie woke up he cam into bed with us and slept for a while longer so I felt really funky.

I managed to get ready on time for seeing the councillor. Devil boy also arranged for our old washing machines and fridge to be collected by the council. It will be funky to see our back garden clear again.

The counselling session went quite well. It did not really last that long but she gave me some information to have a look at. I made another appointment with her in November. Hopefully this will be helpful.

When I got home I was unfortunately really snappy and in a fowl mood. Devil boy and I argued and I got angry with Wolfie several times. Thankfully though I improved while Devil boy went out. The only down side to this was that I was not then able to get out as I did not want to disturb the twins while they were sleeping so I will have to get them sent tomorrow.

Wolfie and I managed to calm down in the afternoon and we had a nice time before Devil boy got home and made diner. I then was able to put the wash load of nappies on the line and put the stuff on the radiators to finis off before the rain started again.

The night has gone funkily and Wolfie settled off to sleep funkily and the twins have settled off to sleep with no problems. All I have to do is get some things done on the computer and make my plan of things to do tomorrow and read for a bit.

Sunday 17th September – Challenging Wolfie

The night shift was not too bas but typically interrupted as I managed to get to bed early. Wolfie woke up at 2.30 but thankfully settled again quickly until 6am. I still got a good sleep but I felt dazed in the morning.

The morning went well but by the end of it I was feeling very frazzled as Devil boys brother came up again with his daughter so there was once again a houseful. Thankfully it did not last for too long though before they all went out for a bit and the house was peaceful again.

The rest of the day went well and I am managing to make a start on catching up on the washing. The only problem that I am finding is that it is too warm still to put the heating on the dry the clothes on the radiator but it is not warm enough to dry them outside. I have still put them outside, as I am lucky that we have got plenty of room to hang them.

The rest of the day went quite well…well apart form Wolfie. He has been very challenging recently and I have to confess that I have been losing my temper with him lots. I really have to work on this as I have noticed that when I am clam with him his reactions are much better but it is a learning curve. We will get there in the end.

One success that I have has is that I have managed to teach him to pass things back to us when we ask him to. He has his moments so that when he has his moments I take the time to teach him again. Another funky thing that he is doing is that he is saying thank you a lot now which is lovely and he is also saying sorry as well.

Though he did something disgusting this morning. He got some cat poo out of the litter trey and threw it about so I have managed to find a new home for it. I just have to make sure that the cat knows that as well.

He settled off to sleep without too many challenges and I have a funky night before crashing.

Saturday 16th September – Wolfie is off to the Zoo

The night shift went well and I managed to get a funky sleep as well.

The morning went well and in the afternoon Devil went out to the zoo with Wolfie and his daughter.

I managed to get lots done while they were out. I made sure that I got a soak in the bath though but I took advantage of Wolfie being out to get things done.

The rest of the day went funkily though and I got all of my jobs done before managing to crash at a good time.

My mum has had some very sad news

The night shift went quite well. Malach woke up at one point though but all it took was a feed and after a while I was able to settle him back to sleep. Though he did give me a big fright. I was dozing off to sleep while feeding him when I heard coughing. I woke and Malach was chocking. I quickly turned him upside down and patted his back. He was thankfully all right but he was understandably upset. I have no idea what caused that.

Wolfie woke up at around 5.30 and he would not settle back to sleep. I managed to get a bit of a catnap but I was feeling dazed and confused.

The new washing machine arrived today. It is very funky. We managed to borrow a spanner form Devil boy’s brother and Devil boy installed it. It is working perfectly so we will be able to catch up with the backlog now.

I was not feeling good though in the morning and after a failed attempt at getting Wolfie off for a nap I was in a really bad mood. Devil boy took Wolfie out and thankfully druingt5hat time I started to feel much better.

The afternoon went well apart from Devil boy not feeling well. I went out and got some things done. I collected the spanner from Devil boy’s brothers and I chatted to him for a while before coming home and getting some dinner.

I fed the twins and then cleaned up before bathing and putting Wolfie to bed. He did not settle well tonight but he settled when I went though to him the second time. I am really enjoying the Star Wars book that I am reading to him.

I spoke to mum on the phone afterward. She was telling me about her cousin. At the beginning of August she had some problem with a bit of a urine infection and she spent some time in hospital. She was released a couple of weeks later but the problem came back and she was seen as she was in a lot of pain. She then got worse developed pneumonia and then she developed septicaemia. There is nothing more they can do for her so they have sent her home to die. She is only 62.

It is so sad. I have not seen much of her and mum has been in more regular contact for the last few years but I really feel sad for them all. They do not think she will last another two weeks. Mum went to see her yesterday. She told me that she is sleeping a lot and has a lot of sores from being bed ridden. She was able to chat to her though for a short time though.

After I spoke to mum I managed to get some jobs but I am still feeling rather strange from speaking to mum. I changed the twins while chatting to mum on the phone so all I need to is give them their bottles before crashing.

I have lapsed with my time keeping

The night shift went well. All of my younglings slept through the night and Wolfie got up at a better time as well (6.30)

The morning did not go well though unfortunately. I hae had a lapse with being organised and I was not at all productive and before I realised it the morning had nearly passed and I needed to try and get Wolfie off for a nap and get ready for homestart. I was n a flap for a short while and typically the only week when I am not ready on time the minibus turns up on time to collect us.

Our group has shrunk a lot recently so there was not many there but I had a funky time. I managed to get some competitions done and I even made a start on my next collage. I am really struggling to work out how to get a fairy done but I will keep work on that one. The collage that I hare started will be for a friend. I am hoping that I will be able to get them finished as son as possible.

The only bag thing was that when I was at the group I started to feel light headed and dizzy. I really have no idea what caused it but I was feeling bad for some time after. When I got home I snapped at Wolfie as a result of not feeling well. In the end after Wolfie managed to escape out of the house and to the park I decided to take him there as the drizzle was helping clear my head.

Wolfie had a great time jumping in all of the puddles and was in a right state when we got home. Thankfully our new washing machine arrives tomorrow.

We then had dinner and I cleaned up while Devil boy bathed Wolfie and I then read Wolfie his nighttime story. He thankfully settled off with no problems. I then pottered about on the Internet and listened to the radio for a change.

I have ordered a few Star Wars books tonight. I was looking down the list when I thought I would check them. It would be best to order them now before they become to challenging to get hold off. Some of the books will not be arriving till at least 4 – 6 weeks so that at least I do not have to pay for them all at the moment.

I then got the twins ready and gave them their bottles. They as per usual settled off with no problems. I am just about to have a quick tidy before crashing.

The twins saw the paediatrician today

The night shift went quite well. Thought I went to bed far too late. I just could not put down the Star Wars book. The storyline is really developing well and I was really looking forward to seeing how the book concluded.

Wolfie woke up at around 3 am though and thankfully he settled off to sleep again but he was still up early. I managed to get a lie in though and when I got up I felt like I’d had a good sleep. The only down side was that I had forgotten that I was due to go to the baby and toddler group so I decided to miss it for today.

I pent the morning pottering about getting jobs done (including getting a wash load hand washed and out on the line)

After lunch I got Wolfie off for a nap and got the twins ready to gout. I had to rush from the train station as it was cutting it fine as by the time the train got there, there was not much time left to get to the hospital for the appointment.

They were weighed and measured before I was seen. The paediatrician was happy with how they were getting on. It was a different paediatrician to the one that saw us the last time. She said that Malach was doing really well so she is happy about how she is getting on. She said that Elbereth is taking her time but he is getting there. I looked at their charts later. Malach has slipped down the chart a little and so has Elbereth (she is only just on the chart) I will just make sure that I give them more boobie feeds during the day.

I need to get a urine sample from Malach. I mentioned that he wee smelled a bit so I need to get that checked out as the paediatrician said that it is not normal.

When I got back I relaxed for a little and then sorted out Wolfies room. I think I was getting a little worried about Elbereth’s weight again as I was snapping at Wolfie a few times. I said sorry to him though and after I managed to calm him down he was funky while I bathed him and settled off to sleep with no problems.

As Devil boy had got his friends around to watch the football I was in the back room with the twins. This gave me the chance to finish off the Star Wars book. I really enjoyed the book; it has changed my opinion of some of the characters. I have had a soft spot for the bounty hunter Boba Fett but I really think he is funky after reading about his character in this book. I hope he features more in the series.

I do wish that the next book had already been released though. Thankfully it is only a few months to wait but I still wish that it were closer. I might just have to pre-order it soon so I get it as soon as possible.

I sorted the twins out, changed them, fed them and gave them their bottles before putting them into their cot for the night. I am so proud at how well they settle off to sleep.

All I need to do now is make my list for tomorrow and work out what book I am going to read next.

I have had a funky day and I went to visit my friend

I managed to get a nice lie in today but from tomorrow I am going to make sure that I get up nice and early as lie ins are good from time to time I need to getup nice and early most days so that I can get things done.

I managed to get a lot done in the morning. I also managed to order some DVDs. They have released the Star Wars DVD with the original cinematic version on it. It will be really interesting to see them before they wee changed (especially for the scene with Han Solo and Greedo.

I managed to get Wolfie off for a nap in the afternoon and I managed to relax and see to the twins. When he got up I pottered around before going to visit my friend. Elbereth was being a bit unsettled so I left the boys at home and took her with me in the sling.

I got some bits of fruit from the shop and went o see my friend. We had a funky chat. It was love to see her as I have not seen her that much recently. She does not go to homestart any more and while her middle daughter settles into nursery she is not going to rhyme and time. Bless her though she got me a present. She got me a funky Chewbacca sweet thingie. It is funky. I am going to go to the shop and get an R2d2 one as well.

I had a lot to do when I got home. Devil boy had sorted out dinner for us. After that I then changed the twins and fed them. Elbereth was thankfully asleep at first so I just had Malach to sort out. It made it easier for me to manage. I then sorted out Wolfies room while Devil boy bathed him.

Wolfie was not for settling though and as he was messing about I left him for a while until he was ready to be read to. I fed and changed Elbereth before I read to him. He then settled off with no problems. This meant that I was able to catch up with this, have a bath and put the shopping away.

Now that I have sorted the bottles for the twins all I need to do is change them again and give them their bottles before settling them off to sleep.

Monday 11th September – Tooth appointment, hello TV, bye bye washing machine

The night shift went well and event though Wolfie got up early I was able to have a catnap so that I felt funky when I got up. I am going to have to alter my timetable though to a get up time of 7am as I have not been managing to get up at 6.30.

The morning went well and I spent the most of it dashing about getting all of my jobs done so that in the afternoon I could happily just go to my appointment. I missed the baby group in the morning so I could get prepared. I also spent a good deal of time trying to get the washing machine to finish the cycle, drain and spin so I could get the nappies out on the line.

The appointment at the hospital went well. I had an X-Ray and was seen by a doctor. I have to have two wisdom teeth removed. There is decay to the tooth on the lower right so that has to be removed. The top wisdom tooth has to be removed as well even though there is nothing wrong with it as when the bottom one is gone it will cause damage to the tooth below. The wisdom teeth on the left will stay in for now as there is no decay. I will need to take care of it though and if I manage to keep it good it can stay in even though it is at a strange angle. They do not like removing wisdom teeth as they are close to a nerve. (Unfortunately the picture is not of my teeth as mine looks better and there are my lip and tongue piercing’s in the picture as well)

When I got home I eventually gave into Devil boys pestering and ordered a new YTV. It is a funky windscreen TV and I must admit that I am looking forward to it arriving. It was a good price as it was not a LCD TV. Though with the younglings we do not need one anyway.

I then started trying to get the machine to work. I tried everything with it. In the end I lost my temper with it as at that point all I wanted to do was drain the load and spin it. The load had still not been rinses properly but as there was rain forecasted I thought that would be good for them. In the end I realised that the machine was foobarred and I had an idea. My mum had offered to help with the credit card bill. We did not need the help at the time so I thought I would take her up on the offer and when I phoned she said that she would buy a new washing machine for us.

I then was able to order it. I am looking forward to that arriving. Though it will not be arriving quickly enough unfortunately so I will have to hand wash until it arrives.

The rest of the night went well and the twins settled off really nicely. I again went to bed later than I had hoped so I am going to have to become more efficient at that.

Sunday 10th September – Down in the morning but better in the afternoon

The night shift went well. The twins were a little unsettled but I think that was because they crashed with us for the night (Devil boys daughter slept in their room)

Wolfie got up at a reasonable time but he then woke them up so I was not able to get another catnap then. Devil boy’s daughter was also disturbed so that meant she was up earlier than usual.

The morning did not go well. I was feeling down and incredible wound up. It did not take much to get me in a bad mood.

Devil boy’s brother came up as well to visit with his daughter. I was really wound up at this point, as there was so much noise n the house. I then shut myself in the kitchen and washed the dishes to keep me out of the way.

Thankfully once all of the extra guests had gone back home and Devil boy had taken Wolfie out for a short while I was feeling much better. I for the twins their lunch, tidied up and managed to have a bit of a rest. I even managed to get a bath once Devil boy got home so by then I was feeling much better.

The rest of the day went really nicely. I managed to get some jobs done as well as sitting down to have a read of my funky new Star Wars book. It is a really good book. The characters are so well written and the storyline is good and told well.

Wolfie settled off nicely again and so did the twins. I also managed to sort out the nappy wash. Though that was the start of the end for the machine. I noticed that it was not cooperating before I crashed but I decided to leave it till the next day.

I went to bed a little later than I had have hoped but I managed to get to play some of my computer games so I was not too bothered.

Saturday 10th September – Feeling down again today

The morning went well. I managed to get up early, which was a good job as Devil boys daughter was being dropped off earlier than normal. This meant that I was able to have breakfast before she arrived.

The morning went well and I managed to get a lot of jobs done. I have been keeping a not of how long it takes me to get jobs. This is working really well as it is making me more efficient at getting things don. Also if I had a spare 5 minutes I would use that to see how much cleaning up I could get done in the kitchen.

It was in the afternoon that was the problem I felt wound up and down for a while. Thankfully by night time I was feeling a lot better and thankfully Wolfie and the twins settled off nicely and Devil boys daughter settled nicely as well. I managed to get an early night as well. I need to make sure I get to bed at a good time as I have such an early start in the morning.

Friday 9th September – Oops Behind again

Not a lot happened that day. I managed to get out and have some baby free time. I did a little shopping and got some funky things. I got a fun computer game for Devil boy and a really fab copy of Milton’s ‘paradise lost’ it is huge and illustrated. It looks wonderful.

I then got some really funky DVDs from the pound shop (they are some old horror films) I love the old horror films as they are not scary anymore and the acting in them is really cheesy. They are great entertainment though.

The rest of the day went really well and Wolfie settled off to sleep with no problems. The twins are really settling well in their rooms. It is really good for them to be in their own rooms. The get peace at night and they do not get disturbed I the morning y Wolfie. It is also nice for Devil boy and I to sleep on our own again.

Feeling down in the afternoon

The night shift went well and even though I was woken up by a dream I managed to get a good sleep.

As the weather was good drying weather I washed our bedding and I got ready for homestart. I managed to get lots done in the morning and I also managed to keep a note of what I was doing and how long jobs took so that I can keep a note for my time keeping.

My funky new Star Wars book arrived this morning. I have had a quick look at it and it looks so funky. I am very much looking forward to reading it.

There was only one other woman at homestart today. As my friend will not be going back they are looking for more mothers to go along to the group. I will miss my friend not going through.

I had a nice time though and it is nice that the twins are in at the crèche. It means that I get a little time once a week.

When I got back home I had to rush about sorting out Wolfie and the twins. I was a bit annoyed with Devil boy though as he washed my funky musical Star Wars mug without taking the musical part out of it. He said that as it has not been in recently he thought it was out. I was annoyed that he did not even look or notice that it was in.

Shortly after I decided to bake some cakes as the eggs needed to get used. As soon as I had done them I had to go to the shop to get some things for dinner.

When I got back the twins started crying. They always cry when I come in the room. They are quiet when I am out but start as son as I get in. I would not mind if I had the chance to rest for 5 minutes before attending to them. I am certain that they sense me as soon as I am back home.

I was not in the best of moods when Wolfie did something that tipped me over the edge. I was really down for a while after and I am only just beginning to recover now. Devil boy again annoyed me as he was asking what was the matter with me but I was not able to express what was up with me. He went off in a huff making me feel even worse.

Wolfie settled off to sleep nicely though and Devil boy went out to his friend’s house. He did chat to me before going and he told me that whenever I need to get some time on my own I should just go out for a few hours. At the moment I feel like I never get any time to myself. I just would love a night off.

Thankfully the twins wee settled all night so I was able to get a bath and relax for a bit. I am going to crash soon as I want to read my funky new Star Wars book.

The start of better time management

Even though I went to bed later than I intended I still managed to get a good sleep. Wolfie got up at 6 but I managed to catnap before getting up at not long before 8.

I got the twins ready and had breakfast. I managed to get the nappies on the line and sort out the stuff to get recycled.

I got out for the group on time. It did not go so well at the group and like the other times I used to go I just sat there and did not speak to anyone. I am sure that will be a one off though.

I then went to Devil boy’s grandmas for a bit. I had a funky time there thankfully before I cam home. Wolfie was tired and he needed a nap.

When I got home Devil boy was not in a good mood. He was trying to set up my compute in my new tower. He was not having any luck wit it at all. There were too many challenges. One of the cables was too short so we ordered an extension. Another cable was then too short and the section for the hard drives and DVD ROMs were not assembled. There were no instructions on what to do either.

When I got Wolfie off for a nap I suggested to him that we take out the power unit from the new tower and put it in my old tower. We tried it and after much fiddling and faffing about Devil boy managed to get it to work. I also managed to recycle the new tower and turn it into a DVD rack. This means that at least that I have not wasted any money. It also looks really funky as a DVD cabinet.

Devil boy’s daughter was over and thankfully she managed to play with Wolfie for some time. She also had some of her friends over as well. This meant that Devil boy could watch Scotland play football in peace.

Devil boy was still not in a good mood so I bathed and put Wolfie to bed. He settled off to sleep with no problems tonight, which was brilliant. I am very proud of myself today as I have managed to get a lot of the things done from my list of tasks. I have not kept a note of how long my jobs are taking me to do but I will do that tomorrow.

All I have to do now is give the twins their bottles and settle them off to sleep before I read, make my list for tomorrows jobs and then crash.

I have had a life coaching session

The night shift did not go too badly. I decided last night that I would get the twins to settle in their own room for the first time. It worked really well and while Elbereth woke in the night I am happy how the first night went.

I got up not too long after Wolfie and I pottered around getting things done in the morning. The only downside was that I went on the computer. I was not that disciplined with myself today. I will do better tomorrow.

I had a blip in the afternoon though. I did not feel well and I really struggled to motivate myself to do anything. Thankfully though Devil boy was wonderful and he helped out so much.

I was also thankful that this did not last long so that by the time it came to getting ready for getting Wolfie off to bed I was feeing so much better. Devil boy bathed him and I put him to bed. He did not settle at first but he thankfully settled the first time I went back to him.

I then had a life coaching session on the phone. I have never had one of these before. I was curious about what they were so I thought I would try it and see how I went. It was really good and very useful. I needed some help with my time management and with my home projects. I am going to make a start on my time management and motivation from now.

Before I go to bed tonight I am going to make a list of what I plan to do tomorrow so that I know what needs to get done.

This meant that my schedule is later than normal but this is more of a one off and one night should be funky. She has helped inspire me with lots of funky ideas as well as her funky ideas as well.

I was able to get some cleaning up done ad sort out the twins before settling them off to sleep. Elbereth did not settle at first but she settled when I took her through the second time. OI think that maybe she had a little wind.

I just need to make my list and read before crashing.

A very busy day but I have caught up with the washing

The day started off nice and early when Wolfie got up at around 6.30. I lay in bed for a while after ward and got up at around 7 to get some things sorted. I decided that I would only go to one group today.

I noticed that today would be a good clothes drying day so I managed to get a load washed and out on the line before I had got out of the house.

Thankfully Devil boy had got up shortly before I needed to go out so he was able to help me get out. The baby group in the morning went well and I managed to have a funky chat to some of the women there. Wolfie had too many biscuits so toward the end he was getting rough with the other children.

After the group I went over to Devil boys grandmas house for a short while before heading back home. I do like visiting his grandma and now that the groups are back on it will be easy for me to do so.

When I got back I got Wolfie off for a nap and I then put out the second wash load that I had sorted out. I had a look at the weather forecast and it said that the next two days after today would be raining.

When Wolfie woke up I decided that I would take him out with me to the fruit shop. I have been late with placing my Tesco order so I need more fruit. Wolfie was wonderful on the walk. It is a 2mile round trip so he did brilliantly. He was so well behaved in the shop as well and he managed to get some things of his choice in the food shop (he asked for tomatoes and apples)

When we got back we went to the park for a short while before we went home. We then had dinner and Devil boy bathed and put him to bed. He did not settle well at all tonight. It took me a while to get him to settle. It looks like we are going through a challenging settling phase. Hopefully it will not be long before he settles nicely again.

I have managed to also go through the pile of 9-12 month clothes for the twins. They are nearly 8 months so I thought I would sort them out tonight. I then had to settle the twins off and then tidy up the living room, as it looked a right state. All I have to do now is change the twins and give them their bottles. I am going to try and get the best sleep possible tonight as I m feeling tired.

Another disturbed night

I managed to get to bed early lad night but the twins were up several times during the night. If it was not one it was the other…and at one point they were both crying. I did not get too bad a sleep last night though thankfully and I will hopefully make up for it tonight.

The weather has been changeable today. Thankfully the rain cleared during the day so I was able to get the nappies dried. I was also able to get another load washed as well. I have managed to get a big amount of washing that needs to get done.

I also have to catch up with the housework. I am making small bits of progress. I have cleared one side in the kitchen, done some wok in the back room and I have also managed some clearing in the shed.

I have also decided that I am going to get rid of my old stereo that my mum got me for my 17trh birthday. I managed to break the CD player yesterday. Well the player works but the door does not. I am not bothered though as the stereo was far too big for what I need now. I have also decided that I will also sell my records. I do not listen to them anymore as when I listen to music it is through my computer.

The day has gone well though. I had a huff though when Wolfie had his nap but thankfully this blip did not last too long and Devil boy took him out so I was able to get some sort of time to myself. I was then able to have a lovely relaxing bath afterward.

I managed to get a lot done thankfully and Devil boy thankfully agreed to bathe Wolfie for me so I could fold up nappies, clean Wolfie room and feed the twins.

Wolfie did not settle off at first but he did not take long to.

I have had a funky relaxing night browsing the Internet and watching films.

All I have to do now is change Malach and give the twins their bottles. I hope to get to bed as soon as possible.

Saturday 2nd September – Carry on weekend

The night shift did not go too well. I had managed to get ready to have an early night but unfortunately Elbereth would not settle off until it was gone 12. In fact she was still awake when I went to sleep at gone 12.30. She was not crying so that was all right.

The morning went well though and even though I had not had a good sleep I felt all right.

Today was the start of our Carry on weekend. Last weekend they had one on one of the satellite channels. I was not that good and they did not show many films. We decided tat we would have a proper Carry on weekend this weekend. We managed to get a lot of funky films watched. Wee needed to take a couple of breaks during the day to watch football and another film but we got to see a lot.

The day went well and I managed to get a lot done. I did not go on the computer while Wolfie was awake. I felt strange for not doing so but I had a better day for it. I am going to continue to spend much less time on the computer.

I also managed to make a start on decluttering the shed. I have started breaking down the boxes that we will not use. I know it is worth keeping boxes for when we move but I do not want to keep every box.

Wolfie again did not settle off to sleep strait away. I think it must be a phase that he is going through. At least he is sleeping well once he is asleep so that is something.

I had a funky relaxing night (I actually sat and watched a film rather than dashing about doing things and missing it) before getting ready for bed early as planned. I am getting better at going to bed early. I am sure it will not be too long before I have mastered it.

Not managing my anger well

I did manage to get to bed early last night. A little later than I had originally planned but it was still 11.30 so only half an hour out.

I got a really funky sleep so I felt great in the morning. The morning went well but as Devil boy was here I got to spend some time on the computer. Yesterday when Devil boy was away I did not bother with the computer during the day.

The day went well but I have been on edge again. I am not sure why but I am getting wound up so quickly. I have been thinking during the day that I am going to plan on taking the younglings to Derby for a couple of weeks soon. I would like ideally a week or two alone with the younglings but I know that it will not happen.

Devil boy’s daughter was over so she kept Wolfie entertained for some time. Her mum is getting married tomorrow so she came around today instead of tomorrow.

I was not managing too badly but I did have a moment while I was bathing Wolfie. He started throwing his toys about and I got really annoyed when he threw a toy splashing a lot of water on me. I splashed a lot of water on him. He got really upset about it and it made me realise that my plan to deal with situations calmly went out of the window. I then managed to stay calm when asking him to clean the toys up, and even though he was not happy I managed to get him to calm down. He did not settle off to sleep strait away but he did settle off without not too much problems thankfully.

I really have to sort out my anger issues and soon. I have noticed that Wolfie is getting a temper on him now. I have noticed how he reacts when he is frustrated. I need to learn a new approach to situations so that he can learn how to handle situations without getting hot tempered as well. I am going to have to have a talk with Devil boy as well as he is also hot tempered.

I have also decided that I am not going to spend any time on the computer while Wolfie is awake. I really enjoyed the day when Devil boy was away and I did not get the time to go on the computer. I got lots done and I felt better for it. I felt worse today for being on the computer. That must stop.

I have just spent the night relaxing and I am just about to change and feed the twins before crashing. I am gong to get another early night to build up on the good night’s rest that I got last night.
