The last homestart before the summer holidays

The night shift went well. After Wolfie had settled he slept until nearly 6 am. I managed to get him to settle back in his bed until 7 when he came though. I also managed to give the twins a night feed though which I was really happy about.

I got up at about 7.30 and got breakfast ready for Wolfie and I. After breakfast I go ready to go to the dentist. Before I went up there were a couple of parcels for me. I got a couple of Star Wars books. One of them was a comic book. I was not expecting that. It is funky though but it obviously is a book that comes in a novel and a comic version.




I then took the twins with me as the doctor after was seeing Malach afterward. It went well with the dental hygienist. She removed the rest of the tartar and polished my teeth. When she had done that she gave me some tips for maintaining my teeth. She told me that I need to floss my teeth and that I need to use a toothbrush with a small head in soft to medium so I can give them a really good scrub at least once a day.

The twins were so good while I was there and they did not cry at all. They also smiled a lot and cooed a lot to the women who worked there charming them both.

I went down to the doctor’s waiting room and fed the twins while I was waiting to be seen. I was luckily seen early for some reason, which I was happy about. I was prescribed some mild steroid cream to use until the rash clears and then some cream to use afterward.

I was able to relax a bit and feed the twins before going to homestart. I had a nice time there and as it is the last homestart until Augusts due to the summer holidays I got a lot of artwork from the crèche that Wolfie had done. There is some really funky stuff that I will put on the wall in Wolfies room.

The rest of the afternoon went well and while Devil boy put Wolfie to bed I reordered the book that I had wrongly ordered before. I then changed Malach before going for a lovely soak in the bath.

After I had my soak I dashed about cleaning the kitchen, getting the twins bottles ready. All I need to do now is give the twins their last feed of the night before I read for a bit before crashing. I might make a start on replying to my friend’s letter that she sent me.

An up and down day

The night shift went well. Wolfie slept well and got up at around 7am. I did not manage to get up to give the twins their night feed though. I was up late reading so UI was too tired unfortunately.

The morning went quite well. I unfortunately got a letter from the hospital telling me that I needed to rearrange an appointment to get an X-Ray. I thought I could just call into the hospital but it seemed that I needed to make an appointment. Oops.

I went to baby and toddler group in the morning. That went well and I managed to get some competitions done. I am not up to speed but I am getting used to getting the competitions done. I just need to clear some time to get them done.

After the group I went around to Devil boys grandmas house after and I saw Devil boys brother. I was not there for long but I wanted to call around while I was there. I chatted to Devil boy’s brother and I asked him about his recent holiday. He said he had a funky time.

Wolfie was grumpy on the way home but we got there in the end. I think that as it was so hot it made the walk more challenging for him. I got him some lunch when we got home. Unfortunately shortly after that Devil boy was in a really bad mood and it put a bad feeling on the rest of the afternoon. Wolfie did not seem upset but the twins were very upset for a while.

Devil boy said he would sort out his temper though. Hopefully we can stop Wolfie developing the same way that we did.


Devil boy’s daughter was around today and she managed to keep Wolfie entertained. Wolfie managed to escape over the fence again. He is such a minx.

He rest of the Afternoon went well though but Wolfie took a while to settle off to sleep. Maybe it was the heat but he just would not settle. I then needed to sort the twins out. Thankfully Devil boy changed the twins while really helped and I managed to settle them off and I have been able to clean up and reply to my friend E-Mails.

I am feeling shattered now so I am going t read a bit before crashing. I have an early start in the morning. I also have to get the twins ready to take out.

The night shift went well. I only managed to give Malach his night feed though. I managed to give Elbereth extra feeds during the morning though to make up for it. Wolfie slept until 7am though. I think his sleeping is defiantly back on track though and I am so happy that he no longer uses a dummy now.

I got up shortly after Wolfie was up and made breakfast for us both. He managed to eat some of it though and I got him changed before changing and feeing the twins.

After Devil boy got up I put some washing in the machine and sorted the clothes on the line. Devil boy then took Wolfie over to his grandmas.

I decided that after I had fed the twins I would just sit and read for a bit. I do not get the chance to relax and read much at all and I never get the chance at night. I managed to read over a chapter and a half before Devil boy got back. I am reading the Star Wars book about Han Solo. It is very funky and I am really enjoying reading about Han Solo’s youth.


I had also managed to sort out the Tesco order while Devil boy was out. There were some items missing so I was able to get something sorted before I had to go out to get the twins weighed.

When I got to the clinic both health visitors commented about Malachs dry skin and recommended that I take him to see the doctor to get some new cream. The then weighed them both. Elbereth has gone from 4.86 kg (10lb 11 ½ oz) to 5.22 kg (11lb 8 ½ oz) and Malach has gone from 5.2 kg (11lb 7 ½ oz) to 5.62 kg (12 lb 6 ½ oz) I am so happy about how well they have done. They are now back on the bottom of the baby growth chart. They are both just above the 0.4th centile. I am confident that they will continue to improve and go up the chart. It has taken such a weight off my mind and it has made the two hourly feeds, night feeds and having to supplement their diet with one bottle worth it.

I then got some things from the shop and ordered a magazine that I like to read from the local shop before getting home. When I got home I needed to sort out the items that were missing from my Tesco order. The person that was due to phone back didn’t but thankfully I was able to get something sorted out the missing items will be delivered tomorrow.

Wolfie has been very cranky though while I was out and tried to escape out of the garden twice as well. I then took him to the park. He was happy to have a run about there and go on the swings. He did not complain when it was time to go home either and was in a better mood when we got home.

I got him something for dinner and I replied to a friends E-Mail before sorting out his room and bathing him.

I read to him once I had got him dressed for the night but he did not settle off to begin with. Devil boy went through to him and managed to get him settled off with no problems.

I then had a nice relaxing night before cleaning the kitchen, getting the washing in from the line and putting out the wash load that was in the machine.

I have just given the twins their night feed and I am going to have a quick read before crashing.

Wolfie has managed to escape from the garden again

The night shift went well. The twins slept well. I managed to give them their night feeds and Wolfie slept well as well. Though he did not settle well when I brought him through. I will leave him in his room for longer tomorrow.

Devil boy got up and made breakfast while I had a bit of a lie in. I then got up at 8am and rewashed the nappies. They did not wash well with the first wash so they needed washing again. I then had my breakfast and changed and fed the twins before getting Wolfie off for a daytime nap. He was very cranky so I knew that he would not make it though the day.

While I was sorting out his nap I got a phone call telling me that rhyme and time had been cancelled. Thankfully though as Wolfie went for a nap early he had plenty of time to wear out his energy before his bedtime.

In the afternoon I spent some time with Wolfie in-between feeding the twins and working on the back room. I have got so much clutter though I am at the stage where the job seems so big that I do not know where to start.

The afternoon went well though and after dinner I was washing the dishes while Wolfie pottered in and out of the house. I had a feeling that he had managed to escape again and I was right. He had escaped again. Thankfully one of the neighbours had seen him and brought him back. We were watching him after to see how he had managed it and we saw that he has now managed to learn how to climb over the fence now so he is no longer safe in the garden. We will have to stay out with him all the time.

Devil boy then bathed Wolfie while I tidied up and fed the twins. I then spent some time tidying up and browsing the Internet for a bit. I managed to get in touch with some of my friends as well.

I have been downloading some Star Wars fan films. I also managed to find a really funky picture for my computer desktop as well. I had a film on my computer but it jumped at places so I re downloaded it but it still unfortunately jumps. Thankfully the jumps are not big.




All I need to do now before I crash is feed the twins and then read for a bit. I am not managing to read much though because as son s I start reading I start falling asleep.

Devil boy and Elbereth are upset and fractious today

The night shift went really well. I managed to get ready early and get to bed at a good time. I was even able to read for a bit before I went to sleep. Wolfie woke up a few times during the night and was not that good at settling. He did though in the end and it was a good way of motivating m to get the twins night feed done so it all worked out well in the end.

I brought Wolfie through and we got up at 8am. I got our breakfast ready and after that I changed him before changing and feeding the twins. Devil boy and his daughter were up by that point. Devil boys daughter wanted to take Wolfie across to the park but I was not happy about that.

I placed the Tesco order and got ready to go to the Taekwondo in the afternoon.

It went really well. I have got so much to learn. The moves look easy to do but when you try to do them they are a lot more complicated. I had fun though. I will definitely be continuing to go.

When I got back Devil boy was getting very annoyed at the football. Elbereth has also been very upset today for some reason. For a while I stayed out in the tent in the garden with Wolfie as Devil boy was swearing a lot at the TV.

The rest of the afternoon went quite well but I was not in a good mood because Wolfie did not eat the soup that I made and then Devil boy gave him something else when we said that he should not get anything.

I was not in the nest of mood when it came to getting Wolfies bath ready. Devil boy and I then had an argument and we were in a huff with each other for a while. I got Wolfies bath ready and bathed him before [putting him to bed. He settled off to sleep nicely thankfully.

Devil boy and I had a nice chat after and he changed the twins for me. July is going to be a stressful month for him so I think that is getting to him. Thankfully we are no longer having a huff with each other though.

I have made up the twins bottles so all I have to do is reply to my friends E-Mail before giving them their night feed and reading a bit before going to bed.

I went shopping with my friend

The night shift went really well. Wolfie did wake up a few times in the night but I had to leave him as I was giving the twins their night/early morning feed I fell asleep and after a while I went through to get Wolfie as I had left him for a bit. I put him in bed with us and I expected that he would get up as he never settles in the morning without a dummy.

The next thing was that I woke up and it was 9am and Wolfie was next to me asleep without a dummy. This means that he is now officially dummy free.

I needed to get up and quickly get the twins ready as my friend was coming around to pick me up. I got the twins r3ady and I managed to have breakfast before she arrived. I needed to get some things done before we left but thankfully I was not too late in getting out.

I had a really funky time out at the shop and I used my car saving money to get some funky things. I asked her if she will take me again at some point and she will do. It was good seeing what the shop sells. Next time I will be better prepared. There is so much things there. You can make some really funky things from what you can get (there was wonderful material to make some really funky curtains from them)

I got some embroidery cotton; needles, pins and I got some baking tins as well as a cover to keep flies form food. I needed something to cover the porridge in the morning while it cooled. It is very funky. I also got a surprise bag of things to stick on cards. The money will go to charity and I got some really funky things.

We went to Matalan after and I got Wolfie some socks. Though I spent so much at the other shop I had to borrow some money from my friend to get them. He really needed some socks though.

When we got home she came into the house and we chatted for a bit before she went home again. We chatted about the new Star Wars book that is 8ut. She has a copy of it now and she says that it is really good. I am really looking forward to it arriving.

I gave the twins one of their afternoon feds and I then went out to the shops o get some things. I took Wolfie and Devil boys daughter with me. I do not get much chance to spend time with her so I thought it would be nice to do so.

I also needed to call and see my friend as she forgot to take the book home that she had lent me and I also had the money that I owed her for the socks. Devil boy’s daughter was able to play with my friends oldest daughter for a while and Wolfie also had fun playing in the garden.

I was not able to stop for long, as I needed to get back and feed the twins and clean the flat up ready for my brother and his girlfriend visiting. He unfortunately did not do so well in the golf today but hopefully he will have a better round tomorrow and recovery his position.

We all had dinner and Devil boy put Wolfie to bed tonight as I was trying to find out where my brother was. He turned up though while I was putting out the washing. He could not stay for long though as he will be up at 5am tomorrow ready to tee off. Because of England playing in the world cup the golf times have been put early so they do not clash with the game.

It was lovely seeing him and his girlfriend though. He says that he will be up again in a few weeks so that will be lovely.

I have made up the twins bottles now so all I have to do before I crash is clean up a little, give them their last feed and then work out what book I will read tonight.

Gutting the kitchen

The night shift went well. I went to bed a lot later than I should have done and this meant that I did not manage to give the twins their night feed.

Wolfie as I expected him to did not wake up as late as yesterday but considering the amount of sleep I got I managed well. I lay in bed for a while after I woke up before getting up and making breakfast.

After breakfast I started work on the kitchen. I managed to then get a lot done while Devil boy took Wolfie out. I am hoping to get that finished in the next day or two. It does not feel as cluttered as before and the room feels a lot better for it.

When Devil boy got back he started working on our computers. Though it was not going well so I decided that when I went out in the afternoon that I would take Wolfie along as well to give him some peace.

I managed to get all what I needed to get done while I was out. I was glad that I took Wolfie as I got some tins for Devil boy for while he is at his friend’s house tonight and they were very heavy. I would not have managed it without the pram.

When I got back I fed the twins before we got dinner ready. It was later than normal so soon after we had finished we got Wolfies bath ready. I got a pone call form my brother as well telling me that him and his girlfriend are coming around tomorrow. He is playing in a golf competition not too far from where I am. I have not seen him for a while so I am really looking forward to it. He is doing really well in the competition so far. Hopefully it will continue.

Devil boy bathed and put Wolfie to bed. I then had a browse of the internet for a bit and replied to my friend’s E-Mails before getting the twins bottles ready and having a bath. I really felt like a bath tonight.

When I got out I then got the twins changed and I gave them their last feed of the night. I managed to get the dishes done while I was heating Elbereth’s bottle up so all I have to do tonight is relax and read for a bit. I will be in bed for a much better time than last night.

I got my teeth cleaned

The night shift went really well. The twins took a night feed funkily. Wolfie woke up at around 4.30 and while he took a while to settle he then slept until 8.45, which is the latest that he has slept.

That was just typical as I needed to get up to go to the dental hygienist. Devil boy took care of his breakfast, as I needed to leave the house 15 minutes after Wolfie got up.

The appointment went really well. I had got a really big build up of tartar. It was painful getting it removed and I need to go next week to get it finished but my teeth feel so good at the moment.

When I got back I hanged and fed the twins before sorting out a nappy wash. After I had done that I had a lovely soak in the bath. It was just nice to get some time to relax.

I then got ready to go to homestart. I had a really funky time there. I really enjoy going three now. I was not sure about it to begin with but I knew that it was wonderful for Wolfie but I am really enjoying it for myself now.

When I got back I started to sort through some of the things that I have got. I really have to make progress with sorting out the junk in out flat. There is no room for it and the flat is too cluttered.

I spent the rest of the afternoon sorting it out until I then sorted out Wolfies room and cleaned his toys before bathing him and putting him to bed.

As Devil boy went to meet his brother at the airport I decided to have a relaxing night for a change. Every night I usually rush about like a loon getting things done but tonight was different. I decided to not rush about. I spent some time not keeping to the timetable. Watching the twins kick about on the floor and trying to turn over. They are so close. They look lovely.

I have managed to get things done though and I will be back on my plans tomorrow but it was nice to take a night off. I have managed to order the books from the money that I got from the letter that was printed in take a break. There will be a bit of a wait for them arriving but I am looking forward to the arriving.

I will just give the twins their night feed before crashing and even though it is later than usual I am sure that will be all right.

I went to baby and toddler group today

The night shift went really well. Wolfie woke up at around 4.30 but he settled again until 7am. The twins were a little unsettled but I managed to get a reasonable sleep in the end.

I managed to get up, make breakfast, change and feed the twins and get Wolfie ready to get out of the house for 9.30. I was very impressed with that.

The baby and toddler group went really well. I did not say a lot but I managed to day more than when I went to the group when I was pregnant. Wolfie was really good and he enjoyed it there.

When I got back I had some lunch and as Wolfie seemed tired I got him off for a nap. I got a pone call, which meant that Wolfie was sleeping for longer than I had planned.

I woke him up and shortly after he had calmed down I gave him something to eat and I took him out for a walk in the wood behind our flat. E had a really funky walk. I rally like walking in the woods.

Not long after we got back Devil boys daughter came around. The weather was quite wet today so she did not go out much. She played a lot with Wolfie and the twin.

During the afternoon I managed to make a start on sorting out some of the junk that we have got. The first part it always the easiest as it is easy to find the immediate rubbish and recyclables.

After diner I sorted out Wolfies room while Devil boy bathed him and then put him to bed. Mum phoned up for a chat. Dad is recovering nicely from his fall thankfully. It will be funky to see them next week.

My brother is in the area at the moment. He is playing in a golf tournament at the moment. It is a European tour so I hope he does really funkily in it.

I have managed to clean up now and give the twins their night feed. Elbereth did not take much of her bottle but Malach managed to drink most of what Elbereth did not drink though as he was hungry tonight.

Too much cleaning to do in the flat

The night shift went well and I managed to give both twins a night feed. Though when I brought Wolfie though he did not settle off to sleep and that confirmed that I will not give him a dummy tomorrow.

I managed to get some catnaps though and I got up and sorted breakfast. I then changed and fed the twins before changing Wolfie.

The morning went well and I managed to get some things done while Devil boy took Wolfie over to his grandma’s house for a bit.

When he got back I had some lunch before I went out. Decided that I would get some exercise and find out when I see the dental hygienist. I found out that I see her this Thursday at 9.20am. Thankfully I do not have to have my X-Ray before then so I do not need to rush to get it done. I have got so many things to do tomorrow.

When I got back I needed to get Wolfie off for a quick nap as he was tired and cranky. I then fed the twins once he was asleep and as soon as they had been fed I read fo a few minutes before getting him up.

He was cranky for a while before he woke up. Thankfully he picked up after dinner and I cleaned up while he bath was running ready for bedtime. While I was bathing him Devil boy went out to watch football at his friends house.

Wolfie did not settle off that well to sleep tonight unfortunately. Thankfully it did not take him to long to settle off though. I left putting him off for a daytime nap too late so I did expect it to happen. I told him while I was getting him ready that he would not be getting a dummy any more.


I then started work on cleaning up the flat. It has got so cluttered again recently that it s driving me mad. I also have to organise the flat as dad said that they are bringing lots of stuff with them. I am worried about how we are going to find space for it so I desperately need to declutter and soon.

Elbereth has been unsettled tonight though. I am hoping that once she has had her night feed she will settle off.

Monday 19th June - A busy day out and about

I had a very busy day out and about. I went out in the morning with the twins to the last of the baby massage classes. It is a shame that there are only four of them.

I then dashed home and had a quick lunch before getting ready to go to the rhyme and time. On the way over I had an accident though. When I went to physiotherapy I was told that I had hyper-mobile joints and one of the downsides to that is that the ligaments around my ankle do not provide good enough support and give way. Normally this means that my ankles just give way every so often but today I actually fell over. I scraped my knees and the knuckles on my left hand. Thankfully though none of my younglings were hurt though.,

The group went really well thankfully and I managed to clean myself up and put some cream on.

When I got home I relaxed for a bit and after Wolfie went to bed I kept myself very busy with all the many jobs that needed to be done. I also decided to have a night off the computer and read for a change when I got the chance.

I went walking with Wolfie in the woods and I went to Taekwondo for the first time

The night shift went really well and Wolfie slept until about 7am. Hopefully this will continue. I unfortunately fell asleep while giving Elbereth her night feed. I will have to sort something out for tomorrow night so that I do not fall asleep during the night feed.

I got up and sorted breakfast for Wolfie and I before getting him changed and then changing and feeding the twins.

The morning went well. Devil boy’s daughter went to play with a friend and I took Wolfie for a walk around the woods at the back of 9ur flat. I was annoyed though as I was walking around I had to pick up Wolfie to move out of the way of the off road vehicles that charge through. It is not right that they use the path. A lot of people do not walk in the woods because of them.

I am going to mention it to the council though as I was just walking down some step when a quad went charging past. It was scary but thankfully Wolfie was not scared. It is not fair that we are excluded from the woods due to them. I will make sure that when I go around the woods it will be on the weekday mornings.

After lunch I went to Taekwondo. It was really good and I really enjoyed it. I will be going back next week. It is really good to be able to defend yourself. Maybe when the twins are a little older and not getting fed so often I will be able to go more often.


When I got back I just relaxed for a bit and spent some time with Wolfie. I also spoke to dad on the pone to wish him happy fathers day. He told me that he fell badly the other week while walking on rocks at the beach. I wish they had told me though. He told me that his shoulder is badly bruised and that he has torn muscles and ligaments. He said that he will be well enough to travel but I told him to make sure that he really takes it easy.

I sorted out some dinner for Wolfie while Devil boy sorted out some dinner for me. I then got Wolfies room ready and bathed him. Devil boy thankfully cleaned up his toys so that saved a job.

Wolfie settled off to sleep nicely so I was able to get all of the dishes washed and the kitchen cleaned. I then changed and fed the twins. Poor Elbereth was soaking.

I managed to relax for a bit and watch some of once upon a time in China. I think that is a really funky film but I have to watch it subtitled. I do not like watching dubbed foreign films. They do not seem right.

Hopefully I will be able to get ready early tonight so that I can read for a bit.

My friend came to visit

The night shift went really well. Elbereth took a good amount of her bottle. I was not too late in bed. I got up once to put Wolfie back in bed and he then slept until nearly 8am, which was the best that he has managed for a long time.

I unfortunately fell asleep while I was giving Elbereth her night feed, which meant that Malach did not get a night feed. I think what I will do is bring my lamp though and put that on and read again while I sort out the night feed so that it does not happen again. It is so important that they get a night feed.

I got up and sorted out breakfast before changing Wolfie and sorting the twins out. I then tidied up ready for my friend visiting. I managed to put a piece of cardboard over the bathroom door so that you get some privacy when using the toilet and I managed to get a nice quick bath

My friend was delayed in arriving due to problems with the train but she arrived without too much trouble. She has tried to get over many times before but there has always been something to cause the visits to be cancelled. She brought over some lovely muffins so when we got home I baked some fairy cakes.

The visit went really well and Wolfie was really good. It was really nice to meet her. Hopefully we will be able to meet up fairly regularly.

After she caught the train back I got some food for dinner and I fed the twins while Devil boy sorted out the dinner. Devil boy’s daughter was pottering about with Wolfie in-between going to the park.

Devil boy then bathed Wolfie while I cleaned up his room and got that ready and then tidied up the living room before feeding the twins. Elbereth ahs once again been unsettled but thankfully the sound of me typing seems to help her settle (It helped while I was replying to E-Mails) thankfully it is not long to her night feed so I will be able to sort her out and I know she will settle off nicely for that. I really have to find my digital camera though as I have to get a photograph of her smile. Her smile is just so cute. I cannot help but smile when she does and it makes my heart melt when I go over to her and she kicks her legs, grins and giggles at seeing me.

All I have to do now tonight is wash the dishes, get the room ready and then change the twins and give them their last feed.

A productive day but an unsettled Elbereth at night

The night shift went really well. I managed to get some reading done before I went to sleep. I managed to get up for the night feed as well and Wolfie sleep till a good time.

I managed to catnap in the morning for a bit so I felt very funky when I got up. Devil boy got up this morning and made breakfast while I fed the twins.

Devil boy then took Wolfie over to his grandma’s house for a few hours while I sorted out a wash load, tidied the kitchen and browsed the Internet for a bit. I managed to get a lot done while he was out but it was also good to get the twins to relax as well.

When they got back Devil boy then went out to the dentist to get a tooth taken out. I fed Wolfie some lunch and sorted myself some as well. Devil boy was not gone for long. He needed a lot of work done though but the dentist told him that the rest of his teeth are in really good condition and all he has to do is see the dental hygienist soon so finish them off.

I then needed to go out in the afternoon and get some jobs done. Today has been a rather deceptive day. While it has been cloudy it has been very warm. I was exhausted by the time I got home but I managed to get all of the things that I needed to get done.

Devil boy sorted out dinner for Wolfie and I sorted out something for myself and then sorted out the twins. I then sorted out a nappy wash and started folding up the clothes that have been piling up on a chair in the living room.

Devil boy bathed Wolfie while I cleaned up and got Wolfies room ready. He managed to find a beetle in the water while he was bathing him. We thought that it had died but we saw his legs twitch so we were able to put him onto a tissue to dry him out. Thankfully he recovered and I was able to put him outside.

I then finished off his bath while Devil boy went to his friend house for the night. I read to Wolfie and managed to get to the end of the 3rd book of the lord of the rings. It is nice to be making progress with the book. I am enjoying the book so much but it is making me realise how much differences there are between the film and the book.

I then managed to clean the room in-between seeing to Elbereth. She has been very unsettled. I managed to clean the kitchen and living room and put the nappies out though. When I came in I managed to make up their bottles before I needed to see to her again. I decided to change her and feed her and then see how much of her bottle she would take. She did really well (took 60ml) but I will see if I can get her to finish it later.

All I need to do is reply to friends E-Mails and tidy up a little more before sorting out Malach and then have a read I bed before going to sleep.

It is very sweet though as while I am typing this Elbereth is looking up at me grinning and giggling. She looks so sweet. She has only started giggling recently. She is so sweet.

Feeling very tired

The night shift went really well but due to the amount of time that I needed to get up in the night nit took me a long time to really wake up.

I managed to sort out the breakfast with no problems. I then browsed the Internet in the morning and replied to messages and E-Mails from friends. I also made a start on the Han Solo trilogy. The second part arrived in the post this morning and the third part is on its way to me.




The morning seemed to fly by and before long it was lunch time and I had not seemed to have done a lot.

Homestart was late picking us up and I intended to get some sewing done while I was there but I was not in the mood to sew. I will try again tomorrow. I was given some clothes for Malach though while I was there which was really nice and my friend lent me a book to read.

My friend was looking as frazzled as I was today. I became really tired while I was there and when I got home I fed the twins and had a nap on the sofa.

Devil boy sorted out the dinner and I fed the twins again and spent some time with Wolfie.

I then cleaned Wolfies room and sorted it out for his bedtime and while Devil boy was putting hi, to bed I got the twins bottles ready. I am later than usual for getting things sorted out and it put me in a flap.

I spent some time on a computer game tonight before rushing around tidying up ready to get the twins their last feed before bed.

I am going to try and get ready as soon as possible so I can have a read. Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day as I clean up ready for the weekend.

Visiting Devil boy’s grandma

The night shift went well. Wolfie got up at around 6am. I then cat napped until 7.30 when I got up and got us breakfast.

I fed the wins and then while Devil boy got Wolfie ready. I then sorted out the nappy wash and went out to quickly get Malachs prescription before the shop shut. I decided to just go out on my own. I fancied a nice walk out on my own. At least with Devil boy being back I can once again quickly dash out to the shops and on my own.

When I got back Devil boy went to his grandmas with Wolfie and I folded and put away clothes and sorted out the twins.

I decided in the afternoon to go and visit Devil boy’s grandma. I have not visited her for a while so I thought it would be nice to take the twins over and visit.

I had a really ice time over ether and we had a funky chat before I came back home. Devil boy made some dinner when I got in.

As Devil boy had mowed the lawn while I was out I put up our tent in the garden again. Wolfie really likes going in and out of it. I am also going to get a paddling pool for the garden.


I am a little annoyed though as Devil boy’s family keep going on about his speech. Mum also asks a lot about how much he is saying. He will develop his speech in his own time. His speech has been developing really nicely recently but obviously not quickly enough for some.

I then sorted out the nappies and folded them up while devil boy ran the bath for Wolfie. I tidied up a bit and bathed Wolfie. Wolfie was really sweet in the bath. He was picking up the soap and then washing himself with it. He just looked so cute while he was doing it.

I only just managed to read a page to him before he was falling asleep. I left him and I think I closed the door a bit loudly at first as he cried a little but I opened it and said goodnight to him and closed the door quieter and thankfully he settled off to sleep with no problems.

I am trying now to rush about getting everything done so that we can have an earlier night than last night.

The twins were weighed and had their first set of vaccinations

The morning went well. Devil boy took Wolfie over to his grandma’s house and I managed to get a lot of things done while he was out. The Tesco order then arrived. The sun cream that I ordered arrived. It will be nice to have some protection from the sun..

When Devil boy got back I gave the twins a feed before getting ready to take the out to get weighed and get their vaccinations.

I went and got them weighed first. Malach has gone from 5.04kg (11lb 1 ½ oz) to 5.2kg (11lb 7 ½ oz) but Elbereth has gone from 4.52kg (9lb 15 ½ oz) to 4.86kg (10lb 11 ½ oz)

I think that is brilliant and it means that they are almost back on the chart. I also got a prescription for some cream for Malachs thrush (which I forgot to get…oops)

I then took them to get their vaccinations. The poor wee poppets. Malach did not cry as long as Elbereth. It took a while for her to settle.

I got a few things from the hops and as I saw a friend in the shop I walked along with he as she was going in the same way.

I do not know what was the matte with me but I was ever so uptight when I got home. I would be all right for a bit but then I would get annoyed again very easily.


The twins were also very upset. I was warned that they could be grumpy from the vaccinations though. I even tried to use a dummy with Elbereth but she was not fussed about accepting it but she spat it out after a very short time.

They thankfully settled off to sleep and devil boy put Wolfie to bed while I put the rest of the shopping away and got myself some supper.

All I have to do tonight is get the twins changed and given their night feed and clean up a little. I should be in bed before too late and I am hoping to be able to read for a few minutes.

Monday 12th June – Devil boy is back home

The morning did not go too well. Wolfie was over tired and as a result grumpy. He did not eat his breakfast and I was getting a little wound up.

I managed to stay calm though and I managed to get Wolfie off for a small nap during the day. I knew that he would not make it through the day but I made sure that he did not sleep for too long. I also thought that the walk to rhyme and time would help tire him.

I got all of the younglings ready to take to the rhyme and time. I could not find the baby carrier so Wolfie had to go there and back. The group went really funkily and Wolfie managed the walk really well. He was a little grumpy towards the end but it was a very long walk for him.

The rest of the afternoon went really well and I put Wolfie to bed. Thankfully he settled off to sleep with no problems.

Devil boy then came back from his festival. He was telling me that there were riots in his campsite last night so they had to leave the campsite a lot earlier than he planned.

I had a really funky relaxing night and for a change I did not do a lot.

I had a funky walk today

The night shift went really well. I managed to get a good sleep but I only managed to give one twins their night feed. Wolfie got up at around 5 and then properly got up at 6. I gave the twins a feed then.

I had a bit of a lie in and then got up and made breakfast. I changed and fed the twins and then changed Wolfie before getting the nappy wash done. After I had done that I spent some time with Wolfie in the back garden.

The morning went quickly and after lunch I changed Wolfie and fed the twins before I decided that I would go out for a walk after the twins 2pm feed. I sent a text to Devil boy and then set off.

The walk went really well and I walked further than I had done before. Wolfie was really good and the twins slept while we were out. I will definitely make sure that I got out more for walks with him.

When I got back I decided that I would have jacket potatoes for dinner again also I put them in. I then changed and fed the twins before I went to sort out dinner. Wolfie managed o eat a bit more f the potato. I will make sure that his diet improves again and he will get used to eating fresh meals.

I then tidied the kitchen while the bath was running and after I got Wolfies room ready I bathed him. It was rally funky seeing him in the bath. I have never taken him swimming but he has for the last few nights been looking like he is interested in learning to swim.

I read to him for a bit before he settled off to sleep with no problems. I had relaxed for a bit and a browse of the Internet.

I am about to go and make the twins their bottles and all I need to do is clean up and get the twins changed and given their night feed before crashing. I am going to try and get to bed as soon as possible.

A very busy but a funky day

The night shift went well. The twins settled off nicely. I went to bed later than I wanted but I got a good sleep before I got up and gave the twins their night feed. I had a sleep in-between feeding them. Wolfie got up at around5.30 and then got up at around 6.30.

I lay in bed for a bit before I got up and made the breakfast. I then decided to do some baking in-between seeing to Wolfie and feeding the twins. I managed to get some shortbread and fairy cakes done.

Shortly after I made the fairy cakes I really needed to get out to the shops but I managed it without too much problems. In fact it was easier to get myself organised than I thought.

After I had been to the shop I went for a little walk and I stopped at the park across the road and put Wolfie in the swing for a while. He really enjoyed it.

When I got home I spent some time with Wolfie in the garden before feeding the twins and cleaning the kitchen. I sorted out dinner and then changed and fed Elbereth before cleaning Wolfies room ready for him to go to bed.

I sorted out Wolfie bath and bathed him and put him to bed. Thankfully he settled off with no problems tonight. I think that I will not bother putting Wolfie off for anymore daytime naps as they disrupt his night time sleeping too much.

Once Wolfie was in bed I quickly cleaned the kitchen and the living room before changing them and feeding them. Once I had done this I relaxed for a little and replied to my friends E-Mails.

All I need to do is sort out a few things and give the twins their last feed. I am trying to get to bed as soon as possible as I am feeling very tired tonight.

A very funky day and Wolfie trying to swim

The night shift went well. I did not get to bed as early as I would have liked but it was earlier than the night before.

I managed to get up for the twins night feed and I had got them settled back to sleep when Wolfie woke at around 5am. I brought him through but unfortunately he got up at 6am. This meant that I got up as well.

I had a bit of a lie in before getting up and getting breakfast. I tried to fix my new keyboard to the do computer but it was not accepting it. It is a problem with the motherboard rather than the keyboard unfortunately. I will work it out through.

The rest of the morning went well. I changed Wolfie before sorting out the twins. I spent the rest of the morning cleaning before getting Wolfie off for a nap. He had quite a good nap before I got him up as it was time for us to have lunch.

I had a really funky afternoon. I managed to get lots of washing, spend some time with Wolfie in the garden, feed the twins lots and browse the Internet.

For dinner I decided to try something new and I shallow fried some sweet potatoes to go with an egg and beans. It worked well but Wolfie was not fussed about it. He is going through a fussy phase. I gave him a yoghurt. I am sure he will pass through it.


I then sorted out his room and cleaned up some of his toys while his bath ran. While I was bathing him Wolfie was trying to actually swim in the bath. I thought at was really funky. I will have to take him swimming at some point.

He unfortunately did not settle off well when I took him to bed. If he has a nap during the day he is not cranky but he does not settle well at night but if he does not have a daytime nap he is very cranky for lot of the day but he settles off to sleep with no problem at night. I will not let him have a daytime nap tomorrow. Hopefully he will not be too cranky.

I fed the twins before managing to get Wolfie to settle. I then had a lovely soak in the bath.

When I got out I cleaned before changing and feeding the twins. Elbereth did not take so much of the bottle tonight but at least she took a good amount. I then chatted to dad for a little while.

All I need to do not is clean up before crashing. I have set myself a time when I should be in bed. I must manage it so that I get a good sleep.

A challenging night shift and another door bites the dust

The night shift was rather challenging. By the time I had got all of my jobs done it was gone 1 by the time I got to bed. I still managed to get up to feed the twins though but shortly after I fed them Wolfie woke up. As I was feeling Elbereth I left him and then bought him through.

He took a long time to settle off and even longer for me then to settle off. He got up at around 8am and I was going to laze in bed for a little longer but I noticed that Wolfie had a very messy nappy so even though I was very dazed I had to get up to sort that out. Thankfully I woke up very quickly and I managed to sort out breakfast, put the bedding in the wash and feed the twins. I fed them lying down so that I could conserve s much energy as possible.

I then washed the dishes and got the twins changed and fed again before sorting out the nappy wash. Once I had put the bedding on the line I got ready to go to homestart. One of my friends was not there today because her daughter had an accident and she has to get some rest.

The group went really well though and as the children from the crèche went out there were a couple of the workers left so they took the twins out for a walk. It was nice to get some time to relax.

When I got home I spent some time with Wolfie before feeding the twins. We then had some dinner and I got Wolfies room ready for his bath.

I went into the bathroom to start sorting out the bath when Wolfie closed the door behind me. We have been having problems with the door for a while but I thought it was fixed. Unfortunately it was not and I could not get out of the bathroom. Thankfully the doors are only flimsy things o that is another door in our flat that has had to be kicked in. It did not take me long to kick it down but poor Wolfie was terrified…the poor wee poppet.


I then bathed him and put him to bed. Thankfully it went so much better tonight and I did not lose my temper with him. I am so proud of myself as I have done so much better with my temper today. I did have blips but not many.

After I put him to bed I had a little try at trying to put my funky new keyboard in my computer and failing sadly before cleaning up and changing and feeding the twins. I also managed to have a funky chat to Devil boy on the phone as well. He is having a funky time at the festival.

All I need to do now is finish of tidying and give the twins their last feed before going to bed. I am going to reply to my friends E-Mails tomorrow. I am going to make sure that I get an early night tonight.

Today has gone very funkily

The night shift went well apart form that I was not able to get up for the night feed. I will make sure that I do better tomorrow.

My funky new phone arrived in the morning. It is a fantastic phone and I think it is so funky. It is in really good condition as well.


Devil boy managed to set off on time for his train and I went outside with Wolfie for a bit before coming in the change and feed the twins.

I then was able to get Wolfie off for a daytime nap and I was able to feed the twins and get some jobs done.

The afternoon went really funkily and I was able to spend some really nice time with Wolfie and also get to brows the Internet from tie to time. Wolfie was really funky though he is obsessed with trying to feed Malach food. Today I have caught him stuffing toast into Malachs mouth, then almonds and then lastly bran flakes.

I got us some dinner ready and then once we had that I got his room ready and bathed him before getting him ready for bed. I unfortunately snapped at him a couple of times because he seemed to be over tired and a bit hyperactive. He was messing about and he did not settle off to sleep. I was able to remain calm though which I was really proud of myself for (even though I snapped at him earlier I redeemed myself by doing that) but I managed to get him to settle off to sleep.

After giving the twins their 8pm feed I cleaned up his toys and chatted to my friend on the phone while I cleaned the kitchen and got the twins bottles ready. It was such a mess. After I called her I then hovered the living room and changed and gave the twins their night feed. Elbereth took most of her bottle, which was really funky. I watched a star Wars fan movie while I was feeding them. I thought it was really funky and it looked really good as well.

I then got a phone call from Devil boy. He got to the festival with no problems and also put the tent up with no problems. He said that he will be getting an early night as he is tire and ha a headache from travelling.

I then had some supper and finished off the kitchen and then put the bins out for their collection in the morning. I missed the last time that they were put out, as our bin has not been emptied for a month. I must also remember to put the paper bin out tomorrow as well.

All I need to do now is fold up some clothes, wipe clean Wolfies high chair and relax for a bit before crashing. Hopefully I manage to morning shift well. I am not sure yet whether I will actually try Wolfie without the dummy. We will see what tomorrow brings.

The twins were weighed again at the clinic

The night shift went really well again. Wolfie though has started waking early again though but I have decided that when Devil boy is away I will try to get him to settle back in his bed until at least 6am. I managed to give the twins their night feed and I got a good sleep myself. I got up at a good time and the keyboard that I ordered arrived today. It looks really funky.

The morning went well. Devil boy went out but while he was out I managed to keep control of my temper really well. I was really happy with how things went.

The Tesco order arrived as Devil boy got back. I then fed the twins and got ready to take them out to the clinic. I got them weighed and Elbereth has gone from 4.38kg (9lb 9 ½ oz) to 4.52kg (9lb 15 ½ oz) and Malach has gone from 4.76kg (10lb 8oz) to 5.04kg (11lb 1 ½ oz) They are still off the bottom of the chart but they are going back up. Malach is almost on the bottom but he did not go off as much as she did. I am really happy how well they are doing. Hopefully it continues. It makes all of the hard work worthwhile.

The weather has been really hot today so by the time I got home I was shattered. Devil boy made some dinner for us and while he went to his friend’s house I kept Wolfie entertained and then got his bath ready.

Devil boy got back in time to bathe him and put him to bed. I then looked for all of the things that Devil boy would need for going away. Wolfie settled off to sleep with no problems.

I packed Devil boys bag while he worked out how to put the tent up.

I then changed and fed the twins and gave them their night bottle. Elbereth Almost took all of her bottle tonight, which was really good. I will see if I can get her to take any more before I go to bed.

I do not know what the matter is with me but I feel absolutely exhausted tonight. I have a headache from being so tired. Think maybe it is because I was out in such heat. Hopefully I will get a reasonable sleep tonight.

Still bad tempered and down

The night shift went really well. The twins settled off really nicely and I managed to get up to give them a night feed. I also then was able to finish off my book before I went to sleep. It took me a while to settle off to bed though and while I got up a little later than usual I was still feeling very tired.

Wolfie got up around 4.30 and I took him through to Devil boy but when I got up he was still tired. I had some breakfast and then realised that I had got up a little too late and that I would have to rush about to get ready to go to baby massage. I also found something out which did not help my mood.

I then snapped at Devil boy shouted at Wolfie for getting to my books and then threw my mobile phone at the wall breaking it.

I managed to get ready in time though and I set off for baby massage still in a bad mood.

The baby massage went well even though I was in a fowl mood all the way through. The twins loved it though and gurgled all the way through and were so sweet. Malach was so sweet and he made such cute noises and grinned so much.

At the end as my health visitor ran it this week asked about the twins and if I was going to get them weighed and then she eventually asked how I was doing. I told her that things were not going well and that I am finding things a little tough at the moment. I am sick of the pressure regarding the twins but I managed to ask he for a breastfeeding chart for them. Maybe that will take some of the pressure off.

I went to Devil boys grandmas after but I was still in a fowl mood and I snapped at Wolfie again. I came home with Devil boy and I managed to get something to eat, feed the twins and sort out something that needed to sort out. By this point I was just feeling down and mentally and physically drained after how I felt in the morning. I was also able to buy a new phone from E-Bay. I got a really good bargain on a hone that is actually better that the one that I broke so I am quite happy about that. I will use the money that I would have put toward my car.

I began to pick up thankfully and by dinnertime I felt much better. I am tired of feeling like this though. I think I will have a go at meditating soon. I really need to find a way to relax.

I bathed and put Wolfie to bed while Devil boy went out to sort out his friend’s computer out. Wolfie thankfully settled off without problems.

I replied to my friends E-Mails and I then had a lovely soak in the bath. I then decided the next book that I am going to start reading. I have read it before but I feel like reading it again.


As I managed to get the dishes done earlier all I have to do now is clean up a bit and get the twins changed and fed before going to bed.

I have to sort out my temper

The night shift went really well. Wolfie slept until 7am and the twins slept well as well. I unfortunately did not sit in my chair for the night feed so that meant that only one twin got their night feed. Elbereth got her night feed tonight. I will make sure that I do a better job next time though.

I decided to stay awake when I took Wolfie through and I fed the twins and read for a bit before getting up at around 8.30. I got porridge ready for Wolfie and I before I went though and changed and fed the twins.

I then spent the rest of the morning reading. I have got back into the book and can not put it down at the moment so I am trying to get as much reading done as possible. Devil boy was outside with his daughter and Wolfie in the morning so I got some peace to read.

In the afternoon after he took his daughter home he went over to his grandmas house to visit her. Though while he was away it did not start well. I put the twins in their activity gym and Wolfie understandably was interested in joining in. I was trying to get him just to stay away from the gym as he was getting a little over excitable but I ended up losing my temper and the twins and Wolfie were all upset.

I really have to start working on my temper again though as I have been losing my temper a few times recently. I really do not want that to rub off onto Wolfie. It gets more challenging with the hot weather but I have to sort it out while he is so young.


The twins did calm down for a bit but I was getting more and more wound up and poor Wolfie got snapped at a few times. I took the twins through and put them in their baskets for a nap and I cleared up Wolfie toys up and I began to calm down and the rest of the afternoon went funkily.

I had a nice time with Wolfie. He spent some time in the back garden until the off road bikes stated charging around the woods and scared him.

I was just getting dinner ready when Devil boy came home. I got something for us and then Devil boy also got something to eat.

I had a quick browse of the Internet before Devil boy bathed Wolfie and put him to bed. Once again he went to sleep with no problems. I am feeling confident to day that I am sure that his sleeping is sorted out now.

After he went to bed I fed the twins and I then sat and read for a while before getting the twins bottles. I have read so much today that the E-Mails that I meant to reply to will have to wait until tomorrow instead.

I have given then twins their night feed so all I have to do before I go to bed is clean up a little and of course read for a bit. I think I will be able to get the book finished in the next day or two.

A funky night and day

The night shift went really well. Wolfie woke a few times during the night but he settled off quickly when I went through to him. This though helped me with the night feed. I was determined to get up for the night feed but I was still really happy that I did. It went better than I expected. I fed them both and I managed to get some reading done. I noticed that it was starting to get light outside.

I woke up at around 8 and got up around 8.45. Even though I’d had a broken nights sleep I felt fine and I did not feel tired at all. It seems that the more sleep that I have the worst I feel which is odd.

I had breakfast and quickly browsed the Internet before getting the twins changed and fed. I managed to get some more reading done. Did not really get a lot done in the morning but I just rested, spent time with Wolfie and read while feeding the twins.

Devil boy went to fetch his daughter and after I fed the twins I had a nice soak in the bath. After that I went out and put the twins under their activity gym for a bit. They really enjoyed it and I read to them while they were under it. Devil boy had a funky afternoon with Wolfie out in the back room. I am really glad that I managed to get the back room clear, as it is really nice being able to sit in the chair.

Devil boy’s daughter went out ton the shop to get some juice and she came back with an energy drink. I do not know why she got it and I was going to sort her out some money to get a different drink but she had already drunk it. Needless to say she was bouncing off the walls but thankfully she went out to burn off the energy. I told her later that the only drink she would get tonight would be water.

I went tout to get some things for dinner and after dinner while Devil boy was sorting out the bath I got the kitchen cleaned. Wolfie though was really upset at first when he was put into the bath. He really did not like the bath mat so we had to take it out and it took him a while to settle.

I tidied the kitchen and then went to finish off Wolfies bath and put him to bed. I read to him and I managed to get him to settle off with no problems again. It is looking good for him getting back to normal with his sleeping. Next week when Devil boy is away I am going to take away his dummy that he has in the morning. He did do one thing that was really cute while I was reading to him. I put his Bob the builder toy on his bed and he normally throws it on the floor when he is in bed but tonight he put him into bed with him for a bit before he threw him on the floor. I thought that was cute.


After he settled I finished off the kitchen and got the twins bottles ready. I will reply to my friends E-Mails in the morning but all I have to do tonight is tidy up a bit before going through and sorting the twins out. Now that the twin’s room is tidy I have got more room and I should get a bit of reading done tonight.

I went out shopping with the twins

The night shift went well. Wolfie settled and slept really well. I am not sure when he got up but as I did not close the door properly he went through to Devil boy himself. I need to make sure that we close it properly for now on.

Malach woke up for a night feed but I fell asleep before I managed to give Elbereth a night feed. I will have to make a better effort tonight.

I got up nice and early and managed to have breakfast, clean up a bit and change and feed the twins before the safety bloke came around.

He had a good look around the flat and he left some things for us. He left one highchair but he told me that he would get another one sorted out for the second twin. He also gave us a bath mat, a tap protector, socket protectors, video protector, medicine cabinet, fridge and oven lock, film to stop glass shattering in doors and a smoke alarm. He fitted the smoke alarm for us. I feel much safer knowing that three is a smoke alarm that works. The battery will last for 10 years.

After he went I fed the twins before going out. I wanted to get some more formula just in case we ran out while Devil boy was away. I got some other things while I was out though. I got a proper changing mat for the twins, lamps for the kitchen and my bedroom (I will get up and read while giving the twins their night time feed) a present for my friends daughter, a mirror for Devil boy and I treated myself to a cute vanity case that I thought was really funky.


The shopping trip went really well. I got a snack form the health food shop and the twins were fussed over in the shop and after I fed them I went to Tesco. While I was in there I had a chat to an elderly woman. She was so sweet. He made a fuss over the twins and we had a really nice chat. She told me that I was a true Aberdonain as I got two babies for the price of one.

I managed to get some reading done on the way home. I have not had the chance to do so but I must try and get some done tonight as I really enjoyed what I read while I was out.

When I got home Devil boy told me that my health visitor had phoned and told him that I should give the twins a bottle as well for their night feed. I will not though as I am happy with how they are doing. They are putting on weight and going up the chart. Which incidentally is still not the breastfeeding chart. Elbereth is not interested in her bottle so I do not see why she would be interested in another feed being from a bottle. I will ask her why I should give and extra bottle-feed the next time I see her.

I then wrapped my friend’s daughters present and I took that around to her. I stayed and chat for a while before coming home. Devil boy had made dinner for when I got back and after that he bathed Wolfie and put him to bed while I cleaned up and did the dishes. Wolfie settled off to sleep with no problems at all tonight. I think that is a really good sign. Hopefully it will mean that he is definitely back to normal.

I am going to make sure that I get an early night tonight so that I am able to get up and give them their night feed. All I have to do is clean up a little, put the nappies on the line and change and give the twins their night feed. Hopefully Elbereth will take some of her feed.

Cleaning up the flat

The night shift went really well. Wolfie slept until around 6am and the twins settled off really nicely and slept well through the night.

I am really sleeping deeply at night though and that is the only bad thing as I have not been able to wake for the twins night feed and I even did not get up to se to Wolfie. Hopefully this will end soon as I do not like sleeping deeply at night. Maybe once I have caught up n the asleep that I need I will be all right.

After I gave the twins their morning feed I got up and had breakfast and browsed the Internet for a bit before I got the twins ready. Devil boy went out to get some contact lenses. He took Wolfie with him, which helped with me getting ready.

He got back before I went to homestart and I got ready to go. The group went really well and while I did not get a lot done it was just nice to relax and not do a lot. I have got so much to do that it is good to get a nice rest. Another woman had brought in clothes to the centre so they passed them onto me. I thought that was really nice and there was some really funky things for the twins. There were even some shoes that will fit Wolfie in there as well. Malach has now got lots of trousers for the next 3 months.

When I got home I made a start on sorting out the twins room strait away. I was really annoyed though when Elbereth started crying. I had to get some things done on the room so I left her for a while. I was getting more and more wound up though. The daunting task and the fact that Elbereth had stated so soon after getting home was making me so wound up.


I tried to keep calm but the temper exploded after a while. I shouted at Devil boy, snapped at Elbereth while I sorted her out and the kicked several things about in my frustration at losing my temper. My bad mood lasted for about 3 hours before I started to calm down. I decided with the room I would just put stuff into bags and put them into the shed and then deal with them one bag at a time. I am finding dealing with things in the shed a lot easier than when they are in the house for some reason.

I sorted out Wolfie room and while Devil boy started to bathe him I put some clothes on the line and I put the twins bottles into the sterilisor. After I did that I then went through to Wolfie and finished off his bath. I took him through to his room and read to him for a bit. I was really pleased as I managed to read 3 pages today. I really am enjoying reading Lord of the rings this time. It made me realise how much I rushed reading it the first time.

I tried something different tonight with Wolfie. When I did was when I walked to the door I kept saying to him that he must stay in bed and get sleep and I when I got to the door I switched the light off and told him again to stay in bed. He got out at one point but when I told him to get into bed he did. I then left the room and closed the door. I heard him cry but he did not get out of bed and he fell asleep with no problems. I am so happy that he did as that is the first night in a while that he has settled off without a problem. Hopefully this is his sleeping back to normal now.

After he settled I carried on working on the twins room and I was really proud of myself when I managed to get it looking really funky. I still have some bits to do but it looks so much better now. I am determined to keep it like that now. I will make sure that I sort through the shed at some points as well so make sure that all of my clutter is banished.

I then changed and fed the twins before sorting out their bottles and working on the kitchen. All I have to do tonight is do a little more cleaning, give the twins their night feed and reply to some friends E-Mails before going to bed.
