Time off

My lie in today was not the greatest as it was disturbed a few times, however my partner took the wee ones over to his mums house for a long time.

I did not do that much cleaning as I really was not in the mood. I did do some though, but I did have a lovely soak in the bath and I also downloaded music from the computer game stronghold and burnt it onto a CD. I am really pleased with it. I love medieval music, it is really funky.

Sleepover and staying put

Last night both myself and my daughter stayed at my friends house. It was really nice for us both. My daughter had a lovely sleepover with my friends two daughters. She ended up staying away till gone midnight.

New gadget and heartburn

I managed to get the money together to be able to order the tablet. My partner at first told me that I was getting as bad as what he used to be like, until I told him that I had used money that I had saved up. Later on he asked me how I had managed to save up the money. I told him that I had just saved up little bits of money here and there to get it. He has now decided that he is going to save up for some new golf clubs. I will just keep putting the money aside for him.

In the afternoon I went up to visit my friend. She said she had got some clothes to pass onto my daughter. I stayed for a bit and we had a good chat before I went home. I got us a cream cake on the way, but for some reason it has given me really bad heartburn. I am drinking peppermint tea at the moment and hoping that it will go away soon.

Glad to be back

It was nice visiting my mum and dad but I am glad to be back home.

The train journey was long and it was challenging at the times dealing with my partner and the children.

I am at the moment deciding about which tablet I am going to save up and get. I saw one for a really good price and I decided that I would get it (It also had good reviews, especially considering that it is inexpensive) I then decided to have a look around and I found an updated version of the first one that I saw. It is more expensive, but it is bigger and it does look much nicer. I am pretty much decided tat I will save up and get that. Another good thing is that I will be able to use it to show the wee ones videos on the train.

I must confess that I am looking forward to getting it. I am not sure when that will be, but I think I will look at using some of my saved money to get it. I could use that to put £100 toward it. There is no way that I could afford an Ipad or any of the other tables and I also do not want to spend between £300 and £500 for a fancy gadget. However I think that something that for £130 is so much better.

Seeing my friend

I am looking forward to seeing my friend tomorrow.

Though my wee ones have not been behaving very well today. I am not happy about it at all.
