Very tired

I am so tired at the moment.

Though it has not helped that not only have I gone to bed late on some nights, but on the nights when I do get in bed at a good time, I am not getting off to sleep well.

Scooting about

My mum got the wee ones scooters for Christmas.

Today the boy managed to get out on them with two boys that live on our street. It was good for them to get out. The other boys were good at teaching them what to do.

I like it when they are outside as they do seem to have a lot of fun when they are out. when they are in and on the computer of Wii they do nothing but shout at eachother and get upset when they lose. Sometimes I just feel like banning them. Something that is meant to be fun for them ends up being anything but (for all of us)

Award

My eldest son has got a writers award of the month recently. I think that is great. He got it for writing a letter to Time Team about viking graves. I think that is really great.

Oh dear

On Wednesday the teachers told em that they wanted to speak to me about something that my eldest had done.

While the teachers are sure there was no ill intent, he still put a pencil in another boys ear. He was told off about it and the following day he was kept in for break and lucnh. Thankfully he wrote out a letter to say sorry as well. I think it will be good for him to to have done that, as it is a good way of him learning to do something to make up for what he did.

Thankfully the boy  had no problems and had been checked out by the doctors.

Hopefully nothing like that will happen again.

Listening

Arghhhhhh I really wish that my wee ones would listen to me when I tell them things and do as I ask.

I am getting tired of raising my voice. It is not working either, so I need to find a better way.

Though one thing my youngest son has been doing that is really sweet. He has been coming uyp to me and saying 'Mummy is as sweet as honey'

Aspergers

I was talking to my friend when we were going for coffee. We were talking about why he is acting like how he is. She said that he could have really mild Apspergers. when she said that, it seemed to make sense. I have asked her to take a look at him so that she can judge for herself. I think I will take him for a sleepover and get her to watch how he is.

He has had his moments, but when he has been good, he really has been good.

My younger son was having a lot of moments today and he was really upsetting a lot of us. However I was happy when he had his good moments. He helped me pick up the lego and there was other times when he sat quietly when I asked him to. I just now need to work on making the good moments more often.

Tree trouble

My partner noticed that there was a ladder against the tree.

I went out to  find out what was happening, and the neighbor said that after speaking to my landlord he had got permission to cut down the tree.

I was not happy about that and after simmering about it, one of our neighbors called me out to resolve it. I told him how unhappy I was about it.

After that they explained about why he wanted it done. I undersand, I was just annoyed that I was not told first.

I managed to get a compromise though. they have kept the tree at hedge level. That means that it will still grow in the spring but it will not be big enough to cause problems with the neighbors.

Madness

I am not sure what has caused the wee ones to behave this way. But they have discovered burping just to get a reaction.

It has been driving me mad just hearing burping. They have also go bad attitudes.

I am not happy at the way the treat each other when they play on the Wii or Playstation. I think they need to have a day off that.

Though I was very happy when the twins offered to help me take down the decorations. They did not need to be asked either. It is nice when they do something lovely.

Yay I got a nice lie in today. Though the twin boys who live on our stree and they were shouting over the Wii, telling eachother that they hate eachother and hitting eachother. I have had enough of the noise and the bad attitude. I will have to do something about it tomorrow so that it will not happen this bad again.
