Not enough house in the day or I am not organising the hours well enough

The night shift did not go that well. By the time I had got things sorted out it was very late. Elbereth took a lot of feeds during the night, which meant that I decided to just take the twins through. Malach then woke up and as I was so tired I just put him in bed alongside me. I meant to put him into his basket but I just fell asleep. Thankfully it does not happen very often.

Wolfie also woke through the night. I think it was about 4am though but it is still not late enough. Malach then took quite a few feeds. Even though I went to bed late I managed to wake up at 8am. I fed the twins before I got up and had breakfast.

I got a letter from the twin’s parentcraft classes that I went to. There will be a reunion this Saturday which I have been invited to go to. I am really looking forward to going. After breakfast I sorted out the nappies and went to change and feed the twins. As soon as I had done that I went and managed to get Wolfie off for a daytime nap.

While he was taking his nap I made some soup. Our diet has not been that good recently and Wolfie has not had much homemade food and that has to stop. I also have to improve my diet as well.


I left Devil boy to sort out his lunch and I fed the twins before going out to the doctors. I called in at the local charity shop and I was happy to see that the funky Monty Python DVD box set that Devil boy’s brother told us about was still there. It was only £6 for a 4 DVD box set. I also picked up a board game for £1. There are something’s missing from it but I am going to have a look to see if I can get replacements for them.

I got to the doctors early so I was able to sit down and read for a while before the doctor saw me. He told me that my cold was clearing and he gave me a spray to help clear my nose.

I then decided to call around and see my fiend. She was unfortunately not in but I stayed for a while and chatted to her husband as well. I get on well with him and he is funky.

When I got home though I realised that I had for gotten to get the tins of Guinness for Devil boy. I quickly fed the twins and had some dinner before going out to get them. I was happy to do it though as I am taking advantage of any extra exercise that I can get.

When I got home I had a rest before getting Wolfies room ready for him to go to bed and while Devil boy was reading to him I tidied up the living room. As Devil boy came into the loving room I heard Wolfie crying and I just knew that tonight would be a challenging night. Devil boy then went out to his friend house to watch the football.

I had to change hi nappy and I read to him. I managed to read the fellowship of the ring but he did not settle off. No matter what I did I could not get him to settle. I managed to hover the living room and feed Malach while trying to settle him. I then had to see to Elbereth as well. I unfortunately snapped at him a couple of times at I was rather frustrated by that point and I felt for him as well.

Thankfully after about an hour I managed to get him to settle to sleep. I then had to feed and change Elbereth. Thankfully they have managed to settle for a bit, which will mean that I can get some things done. I has been rather challenging at the moment. I never seem to get any time to myself and I do not have enough time to get the jobs done that need to get done. I have to plan my time out better and I know it will get better once the twins start to settle earlier and settle through the night.
