Wolfie slept for a long time but Devil boy’s grandma and granddad are not well

The night shift went really well. Wolfie woke up just before 6 and as I thought that it was to early to get up I read to him so he would settle off and I left him to settle again in his bed. He cried for a little but he settled off and he slept until 8.30. That was so funky to get such a good lie in.

The day went well and Devil boy took Wolfie to his grandmas for a bit. While he was out I sorted out the twins and tidied the back room.

When Devil boy got back he was telling me that his grandma has no been well recently. She had to go into the hospital. She was given some steroids but is thankfully getting better. Though Devil boy’s granddad is not well at all. He is in hospital and things are not looking good for him unfortunately. Devil boy did not manage to get a photo of Wolfie with him so he is feeing sad about that. Hopefully he will recover so Devil boy can get back over and get a photo with him.

The rest of the day went well. I managed to get Wolfie off for a quick nap when they got back and someone came out to look at the boiler. We have been having problems with it recently. Thankfully it was still in the guarantee and he was able to fix it.

Devil boy’s daughter came over while we were having dinner. She will be stopping over tonight. She ran about and kept Wolfie entertained before he went to bed. We have found that if we put him in the bath half an hour later than if he had not had a nap he settles off really nicely.

I then sorted out all the things that needed to get sorted out in good time. Though I have to confess that the flat is once again getting really messy again. I am going to have to set time aside to keep on top of the flat. I worked so hard while Devil boy was away to keep the flat tidy. I cannot let it get that bad again.
