I think that now the due date seems so close I have decided that I really need to get a move on with getting prepared for when the twins arrive.
Today I have almost finished sorting out the living room so that it will be easy to maintain in the chaotic newborn days. I have made a good start on the twin’s room. I have a big bag of Wolfies old clothes that need to be washed but I have sorted out some space for them to go into. Though I am still at the stage where there seems to be so much stuff to do I do not know what to do next.
I am looking forward to decorating the room. I am also going to work on Wolfies room as well as I never managed to get it done in the first place. In the twin’s room planning on stripping the wallpaper off and painting (I am not sure what colour yet but not too bright) I am going to make some collages for the walls and I have a hammock to hang on the wall for any toys and I have a baby gym for the floor.
In Wolfies room I do not have too much to do. I need to repair his inflatable pool (his playpit) make some collages for the wall and put the hammock for his toys up along with a height chart that I will put up tomorrow.
Thankfully Wolfie had a really good nap during the day (nearly 3 hours) so that it meant that I managed to get lots done.
I noticed today that I am waddling much more with this pregnancy than I did when I was pregnant with Wolfie. I am also finding it a struggle to bend down now and pick things up as well as looking for things. I still feel good but I am now noticing some of the discomforts of having a big bump (not being able to move about so much, get through gaps and the underneath of my bra curling up at the front and nipping my skin)
I am blessed that I am only getting niggles and discomforts (even though I might now feel like that if I ever went to the beach Greenpeace would want to come and rescue me ;) )
