An interesting day

Today has been interesting.

It started off well. I had a good morning and it went well after I had collected the twins from nursery. The walk over to collect my eldest was good and I felt calm. I was enjoying the time I was spending with them. They were even pretty good while I was waiting for my eldest to come out (well apart from my daughter wanting to lick everything)

That all changed when I collected my eldest. I had to pass on some forms to the teacher that my son had forgotten to hand in. When I turned around they had run off (after I had asked them to stay still)I was not happy with them as I knew that my son had gone running after one of the boys in his class to ask if he could go to his house (I really hope that we are able to get something sorted out for him to do with his friend)

They would not listen to me (some of the other children were helpful in pointing where they were) and they did not come back when I called them. I was not happy. After I had finished my counting for them not going on the computer when they got home, my youngest son at least came back to me. He however did not wait while I got the others. After stomping around the school once again (and with help from one of the parents) I found him. He was already walking home.

After a few more stern words with them (and them being upset) we got home. It was then that I realized that my daughter no longer had the bottle that my sons juice was in. She had thrown it on the floor. I was instantly mad with her again. I really could not believe that she would do something like that. I have told her often enough how bad throwing things on the floor is. I have told her that to make up for throwing the bottle down, she must pick up two bottles (I also hope that I am able to find my eldest sons bottle as well)

It took me a long time to get myself calmed down after that. I was able to make dinner and they ate it all (they do like the soup that I make for them) and they played nicely in their room. As they had been good I let them have one hour on the computer. My youngest son was not bothered about playing on the computer though and neither was my daughter. Even before the hour was up my eldest son had lost interest and they all played in their bedroom.

They all behaved after their bath and after a wee bit of fuss they went to bed. After that I spend a nice bit of time with my eldest watching the lovely cartoon little bear. I think that for wind down time that we watch nice shows. I think the little bear is just so cute to watch.

Now at least I am able to relax now. Hopefully I can learn to deal with them better without getting angry.
