The twins slept well through the night but unfortunately Wolfie woke up at 4.30. I am not sure why he is waking up early in the morning but I am hoping that it will stop soon. If it does not sort itself I will have to have a look at what we can do to help him sleep longer.
I fed the twins before I got up and when I got up Devil boy made breakfast for me. I browsed the Internet while I had that and after breakfast I changed Wolfie and then sorted out the twins.
Wolfie was getting increasingly cranky and even though I got lunch ready for us all he did not seem interested in what he had got. I knew that he was tired so after I ate my lunch I decided that I would get him to take a nap. Thankfully I managed to get him off for a nap. I was happy about that as I managed to get to read more of Lord of the rings. They are in Moria mines at the moment. I am enjoying it more now that I am reading it in bits that when I first read it all in one go. I am also taking in more as well.
I went out to the shops in the afternoon. I just went out by myself. It is a good walk to the shops and I like getting the exercise. When I got back Wolfie was up from his nap and I got a snack for him which he decided that he would not only not eat but that he would also find a new home for in the cassette player in my stereo.
I then decided that I would clean that out tomorrow as that will be rather a fiddly job and start clearing out the shed. I unfortunately was not really in the mood for clearing out and while I managed to get some clearing out and put a cardboard box into the recycle bucket I could not make much progress. Wolfie then came out in to the garden so I decided to sort out the fence at the bottom of the garden. I managed to get it mostly secured at the bottom. I think I will have a day working on the garden tomorrow.
Devil boy went out after we’d had dinner and while I was changing the twins I lost my temper at Wolfie when he was getting in the way. I felt really bad as he was only trying to help. I said sorry strait away and I gave him a kiss and a cuddle. He was funky again very soon and while I was feeling the twins he was lying on the floor with a blanket over him and I got him to pretend snore. It was very cute and he was giggling at me when I was making snoring noises.
Devil boy got back in time to bathe Wolfie but tonight he did not settle off well so I needed to go through to him. I decided to read to him tonight and he settled off funkily after that. I then went for a lovely soak in the bath.
I have managed to resist the temptation to eat chocolate today. At some points it was really hard and I at times had to eat something to take my mind off it. It will take time but the longer I manage to resist chocolate the easier it will get. I think it is amusing though I found it much easier to quit smoking that stop eating chocolate. Someone could offer me a cigarette and I would not think twice when saying no thank you but if someone offered me some chocolate it would take a lot of will power to say no. I am getting there though.
I have changed and fed the twins and they are nicely settled off now. I am going to browse the Internet for a few minutes before reading for about half an hour before going to bed.
