My mum has had some very sad news

The night shift went quite well. Malach woke up at one point though but all it took was a feed and after a while I was able to settle him back to sleep. Though he did give me a big fright. I was dozing off to sleep while feeding him when I heard coughing. I woke and Malach was chocking. I quickly turned him upside down and patted his back. He was thankfully all right but he was understandably upset. I have no idea what caused that.

Wolfie woke up at around 5.30 and he would not settle back to sleep. I managed to get a bit of a catnap but I was feeling dazed and confused.

The new washing machine arrived today. It is very funky. We managed to borrow a spanner form Devil boy’s brother and Devil boy installed it. It is working perfectly so we will be able to catch up with the backlog now.

I was not feeling good though in the morning and after a failed attempt at getting Wolfie off for a nap I was in a really bad mood. Devil boy took Wolfie out and thankfully druingt5hat time I started to feel much better.

The afternoon went well apart from Devil boy not feeling well. I went out and got some things done. I collected the spanner from Devil boy’s brothers and I chatted to him for a while before coming home and getting some dinner.

I fed the twins and then cleaned up before bathing and putting Wolfie to bed. He did not settle well tonight but he settled when I went though to him the second time. I am really enjoying the Star Wars book that I am reading to him.

I spoke to mum on the phone afterward. She was telling me about her cousin. At the beginning of August she had some problem with a bit of a urine infection and she spent some time in hospital. She was released a couple of weeks later but the problem came back and she was seen as she was in a lot of pain. She then got worse developed pneumonia and then she developed septicaemia. There is nothing more they can do for her so they have sent her home to die. She is only 62.

It is so sad. I have not seen much of her and mum has been in more regular contact for the last few years but I really feel sad for them all. They do not think she will last another two weeks. Mum went to see her yesterday. She told me that she is sleeping a lot and has a lot of sores from being bed ridden. She was able to chat to her though for a short time though.

After I spoke to mum I managed to get some jobs but I am still feeling rather strange from speaking to mum. I changed the twins while chatting to mum on the phone so all I need to is give them their bottles before crashing.
