Sunday 17th September – Challenging Wolfie

The night shift was not too bas but typically interrupted as I managed to get to bed early. Wolfie woke up at 2.30 but thankfully settled again quickly until 6am. I still got a good sleep but I felt dazed in the morning.

The morning went well but by the end of it I was feeling very frazzled as Devil boys brother came up again with his daughter so there was once again a houseful. Thankfully it did not last for too long though before they all went out for a bit and the house was peaceful again.

The rest of the day went well and I am managing to make a start on catching up on the washing. The only problem that I am finding is that it is too warm still to put the heating on the dry the clothes on the radiator but it is not warm enough to dry them outside. I have still put them outside, as I am lucky that we have got plenty of room to hang them.

The rest of the day went quite well…well apart form Wolfie. He has been very challenging recently and I have to confess that I have been losing my temper with him lots. I really have to work on this as I have noticed that when I am clam with him his reactions are much better but it is a learning curve. We will get there in the end.

One success that I have has is that I have managed to teach him to pass things back to us when we ask him to. He has his moments so that when he has his moments I take the time to teach him again. Another funky thing that he is doing is that he is saying thank you a lot now which is lovely and he is also saying sorry as well.

Though he did something disgusting this morning. He got some cat poo out of the litter trey and threw it about so I have managed to find a new home for it. I just have to make sure that the cat knows that as well.

He settled off to sleep without too many challenges and I have a funky night before crashing.
