Saturday 13th

I took my eldest to a Robert Burns competition in the morning. Bless him though he was so nervous when it was his turn to go that he could not speak. Thankfully his teacher was there to help him. He got a certificate though and I am really proud that he managed to do it. I had to sacrifice a lie in but it was worth it.

After that I visited my friend for a short while. I have not seen her for a while. My eldest was so well behaved at her house I was again really proud of him. Though it did help that I was just with him.

Another reason why I was visiting my friend was so I could borrow her funky boots for a night out.

My partner also took the wee ones to his mum and dads house to give me the time to get ready. It was just lovely to relax.

Though sadly I forgot to move the razor after my bath and my daughter cut her lip. Thankfully the bleeding stopped really quickly and she was feeling better before too long. Bless her though she was upset when I told them that I was going out. She wanted me to read to her.

I had a funky night out. It was nice to get out for a change. I was able to find some alcohol free beer to drink. It tasted pretty good as well. Sadly one of the women on the table where I was sat kept asking me if I wanted a alcoholic drink, and she told me that we would have to get drunk together at some point. I think it is hard for some people to understand that I am not bothered about drinking anymore and I really do not want to get drunk again.
