A restful day

I was going to take the younglings out for a walk but I ended up staying in all day. I was not bothered and the younglings did not seem upset.

I spent some time cleaning, playing with the younglings, typing up my story on the computer and of course preparing food.

The day has gone really quickly. I am in fact really surprised how quickly it has gone.

After the last few nights I decided last night that my eldest would not watch Yu-Gi-h GX at night as he was settling off to sleep far too late. He made the slightest protest but i think he knew with the tone of my voice that there was no chance that he was watching it. I told him that I would also not be watching it and he was happy with that (I really did end up not seeing it)

He did not really moan about it which I was really glad about it and as a result he settled off to sleep at not long after nine. i knew that this is later than what I would like but it is a lot better than just before ten. Hopefully he will improve on tonights time. It still was good and it did make a difference to how I felt tonight.

I saw the mouse again tonight. It must have hidden under the computer desks during the day. It dashed under the couch and as I lifted the couch to find the mouse I could not find it. It was then that I realized that it must have been trapped in the couch. I made a hole in the bottom to get out any trapped toys. I think it must have dashed in thee. I had fun getting the couch to the front door and the door kept rattling as I tried to get it out. Thank goodness that the new neighbors are not like the previous ones as they would have been stamping down to us.

I know that if the mouse was evicted through the front door that it is not far enough away from the house to make it a successful release but I can hope that it will not be back. At lease it is hopefully out for the night.
