It was the election day today. I voted for the SNP. I sadly know that they will not go in but I had to vote for who I wanted to get in. I really hope that we get independence at some point.
Thankfully I met one of my partners friends when I went to vote. He kindly stayed with the younglings so I was able to vote in peace. The younglings were off school as the school became the polling station.
After that I went to my friends for a bit after. I was not able to stay long as she was going to the doctors but it was nice to be able to get up with the younglings. They behave well at her home so that is fine. It was a pain when I had to go into the shop on the way home but once that was done and I was home I was feeling much better.
I have been swearing a lot over the last week. I have been letting myself get too stressed. I do not know how I can find a way of chilling out more.
Though once again after watching some of the election coverage I ended up going to bed too late. At least my partner comes back tomorrow so I can book a lie in for Sunday. I was not happy as the younglings would not let me have a lie in at all (they were up at 7)
