Wolfie woke up at 5 this morning but while it is early it is not so bad as he at least sleeps with us for longer. The only thing that concerns me is that if the twins are like this as well we could end up with three children in bed with us in the morning (and fighting for space ;) )
The morning went well and when Devil boy took his daughter home I took Wolfie out for a walk.
When I got back I decided to try and get him to take a nap. When I was reading to him I noticed that the light was dimming and then getting brighter. I thought at first that the bulb was going to die so I checked and thankfully Wolfie was asleep which meant that I could leave the room before the bulb went.
I also checked the electric meter ad there was enough in there so I sat down with the plan of browsing the Internet for five minutes before cleaning up a little. It was then that the electric went off. I thought that it was actually a good thing that the electricity went off, as it managed to motivate me to start the cleaning earlier than I would have managed. I managed to sort out my bag where I store my shopping bags and clear some of the clutter. I also managed to get some material for the collage that I have been meaning to start for the last two days. I was going to start it tonight but I am ready for bed now unfortunately.
When Wolfie woke up I spent some time with him before the power came back on after being off for about 2 ½ hours. I switched the lights on but it was still not right. The lights were not as bright as they usually are and for the next hour the power flicked off and on and when it was on the lights dimmed and brightened with the power surges. Wolfie was getting upset as the phone was making beeping noises and I think he found the power surges disturbing.
The power eventually died again but fortunately we have a gas cooker so I was able to get dinner for Wolfie and I. The power came back on thankfully at 6.15. This meant that I was able to give Wolfie his usual bath at 7. While our heating is gas it will not work without the electricity on.
Hw settled off nicely and I had a lovely soak in the bath.
Devil boy has been out most of the day fixing his brother computer. He has had a lot of problems with the computer so it has taken a lot longer than he hoped. I have spent the night mostly relaxing, browsing the Internet and getting something to eat (I cleaned the kitchen while I prepared the food)
I am going to crash now and look for any back up names for the Bambino’s.
