Easter holidays

Today is the start of the Easter holidays. I kind of got a lie in today. My partner got up with the younglings but as I was up at just gone eight then it was not really a proper lie in.

I will no doubt get my lie in on Sunday. I do need to get an earlier night tonight as I really need a good sleep. I do hope that the younglings let me have a lie in but I can see that not happening.


I finished reading my Star Wars book today. I have really enjoyed reading it and I have really enjoyed playing the computer game as a result. Also the more I play the game the better at it I am getting. I am tempted to rent it out for the PS3 to see how the graphics look. I think I will get the game for the PC as well.

The younglings were not too bad but toward the end of the day they were really playing up. Though while I was snippy I did have moments when I was able to tell my eldest off without raising my voice. I am really proud that I was able to do that. I was able to reason with him and get some good results.

I just with they would not get so noisy at certain points in the day. But at least I have made some progress with how to deal with them. Hopefully I can keep improving.
