Mouse caught

My partner took the younglings to school and nursery today. It gave me a nice break as I will be very busy after my partner has gone away tomorrow.

I did catch a mouse this morning in the trap. I do hope it is the one that has been running around the flat for a few days. We also discovered a dead mouse in my partners underwear bag. The poor wee thing. We had to trow out the bag and wash all of the underwear. I was able to get the mouse that was alive and take it up the road to release it. Because the mouse got trapped in the transparent trap I was able to get a picture of it. that was not the only advantage of it. I think that because it was transparent it meant that the mouse could see around. It did not seem too stressed out about being there. It was not too happy but it had been there for a few hours so it was good that it was not dead.

I have been helping my partner with his packing. He will need to take a lot with him as he is going for a few days. It will be a great experience for him. I would love to go along on something like that. I did get food shopping for tomorrow today so that saves rushing out tomorrow morning.

However I will need to get three days worth of shopping on Friday so I will have to plan out in advance what I need to get.
